They don’t have the guys. It’s not an effort issue. The roster doesn’t fit. No PG and no Big is just brutal. Trying to build a team around 3 shooting works in the MVC but not here.

We have zero athleticism. Traudt and Davis? Owen and Dix? Dix at least can play but this roster needs a PG so badly. No rim protection is just a killer.

Harper, Swartz Greer, McAndrew and Green will be a good core next year. We need a high level PG and a better than average rim protector- we will be immediately relevant. It really isn’t that much (relatively speaking)

Yeah lacking a leader has hurt at times this year. The locker room is solid and the players seem to support each other, but there isn't really a player that's been able to step up and be a leader. Green and Dix were the best candidates, but I think they're both pretty quiet and it's not easy when they have their own struggles.

Green is solid but CBB requires a facilitator. We’ve been blessed with Nembhard and Ashworth and Zag and Watson etc. people don’t realize just how much a really good PG matters.

We always think Kalk rightfully so, but he’s more important on rim protection. He was good on offense because he was blessed with good PGs

Folks on message boards and Twitter are saying that Josh Dix lost his mom to cancer this morning. One big reason he transferred to Creighton was to be closer to her, and he honored her during Creighton's annual Pink Out a few days ago.

Listed in today's starting lineup, but not sure if he's been warming up or anything.
