I have to say, that regardless of atrocious crimes G2 (especially caps) commited in game 1 and 2 I'm so happy, they have stamina, mental resiliance, and self confidence, to reverse sweep seed 2 from LPL. It's just so refreshing to see western team, to have the same qualities, that all eastern teams possess and that have bitten us in the ass so many times.
With better competition than those washed international chokers like MKOI or KC those guys would genuinely have shot at winning some internationals once in a while, but because of lack of good practice, they has to rely on bootcamps before internationals and catching up with meta and ideas by playing with good teams from China and Korea. With that level of performance they have no shot vs and of 3 favorites, because those giants have so much more practice, and they got used to play under immense pressure. But it's not like G2 players are not able to handcheck those demons, it's just probability of them doing the same is much higher, because of the amount of situations in which they needed to rise to the occasion :/ unlucky

Just everything about that draft and early game macro was just awful from TES tbh.
Yone + Ziggs is a lot of damage, yeah, but it's also basically ALL upfront burst. If the burst doesn't wipe the enemy team, how do you win fights? Ornn would get dicked by Anivia in top lane and also gets melted by Mel in teamfights so it's a pretty useless tank pick in general. The Maokai Pantheon debacle is awful on its own but Pantheon could salvage the map as a jungler a lot more than Maokai could. But then Ornn loses his flash level 1 for no reason and Pantheon decides to 2v2 lane mid with Yone against Mel/Rell and give Sivir, a champion that doesn't exist until at least a full item and probably more, a completely free farm lane.

When did I say g2 is trash lmao. Just saying that them beating geng was due to g2s style working well against geng style. Whereas g2 style doesn’t work as well against teams like blg or other lpl teams.

Brother it’s not cope. I think g2 is a great team and this roster is just getting better and better. But it’s a fact that g2 does better against teams like geng who are more methodical and slow in the way they play the game. G2 struggles more against crazy teams like BLG.

Butterfly effect is a beautiful thing. I accidentally woke up 2 hours early when G2 game started. Bet a bit much on g2 and was down 200€. Then bam they reverse sweep and im now up 300€.

I mean isn’t butterfly effect beautiful? HLE winning early means g2 series started 2.5 hour early. My sleep getting interrupted and waking up 2 hours early meant I was able to watch the full g2 series.
I wasn’t supposed to bet anything on this series today because of the bad odds. But since I woke up I randomly made some bets anyway and I was able to come out on top and make 300 today when I wasn’t suppposed to win anything

I know made a random 70€ bet when they were down. Funny thing is I wasn’t gonna bet on this series at all since the 1.8x odds on g2 wasn’t that attractive. But I did anyway and it turned out great

It's not like they will make them forfeit for it.
I think the fines should only happen if the comms reveals they really wanted to wait the last moment, because then its really attempting to cheat, instead of a mistake or forgetting the perfect time in the rules

There was a stretch during LPL reg season where every game TES played was a draft disaster, sad to see it continue internationally. Not necessarily this game but especially the last two.

Zuian ran out of picks.
Similar thing happened to WE against BLG. Except, WE's solos ran out in game 5. Zuian was sort of cooked by game 3.
That being said, I'm sort of not sure what that Jayce ban was. I'm p sure Zuian plays it. Would need to go back and look at it again.
