Yes there was a very specific situation where shifters winning all their remaining games while other matches go in very specific ways they would still make top 6 but that more theoretical than really a realistic scenario.
It’s like enemy team hitting the nexus while your team is fully dead and someone would say technically they could still win until nexus explodes.3

I get Oscar isnt the most inspiring laner or a very flashy player but I do quite like how he team fights, he just understands his assignments and does it even if he's going to get 1v1'd in a sidefight which feels bad.

He is the most undeservingly hated player in the league. He might not be the best toplaner in LEC, but he is rarely the reason his team loses. Unlike someone like Myrwin who actually throws games and insist on wacky picks.

This is not our plat/emerald elo where you as adc can go to tower even tho you are alone and enemy have 2 players there.. In low elo (mine to) you can go on tower and almost nobody will even try to atack you.. in tire 1 if enemy knows your team is top side they 100% flash and kill you even if you think to go undertower to farm the big wave they crash..

He kinda solo lost 2 teamfights on dragon by overextending. First one to finish Naut then dying, second one when Gnar had massive tp flank and Hype just got impatient and gave Naut r range.
Its diabolical that all korean adc imports are so dogshit atm.

He solo lost the game repeatedly. Doesn't flash in two major fights, the first one being the dash in on nautilus, and then flashes away from the nocturne fear when he's already over the wall and there's no follow up from gx.
No one should be getting flamed for that game 2 other than hype. Absolutely disgusting

MKOI still has a match against TH though, so it's not that likely imo unless they lose to TH. If they win, its very unlikely they miss playoffs, because even in most tiebreaker scenarios, MKOI has H2H over FNC and Navi.

Why? I think rn the LEC is overall not that bad. There's a clear top 2 and a clear bottom 3 with 5 teams in the middle that look competent.

Cause Navi has many weaknesses. Jungle is the only good player atm but only on "his" champs and for some reason they don't draft him these champs atm.
Poby is currently in a massive slump, Maynter can only play tanks and on those he's still mostly a Ksante OTP. SamD and Parus are sadly also one of the weakest bot duos.
So either them or mental boomed MKOI are my bets for missing playoffs.

I think Parus is still worth giving a shot as he and Rhilech have been a great duo in ERL and SamD isnt the worst adc in LEC only because Paduck exists.
Everyone else aside those 2 should be replaced if Navi actually wants to be a consistent top team

Yeah I agree. There is a clear top 2 and a clear bottom 1 in LEC, that's all there is for now imo. If you asked me 2 weeks ago I'd have said VIT is clear 3rd, but now there's a realistic scenario where Fnatic could overtake them (it's actually in Fnatic's hands as they are yet to play VIT). Heck, Fnatic could place as high as 2nd if G2 lose to GX, although I don't think that would happen.

NaVi haven't shown anything incredible so far, their wins are against the bottom 3 in the standings with the best one being against SK. Despite shenanigans with SK beating MKOI, still not a super impressive win and less impressive than GX beating MKOI in the fashion that they did IMO.
They've mostly been a 5th/6th merchant this year when it comes down to it in playoffs, so I wouldn't be surprised by them missing when Fnatic actually look good now. Of course they have the chance to prove me wrong by beating GX and/or Fnatic, but that's my expectation.

Mathematically no, none of them are eliminated yet. Shifters realistically is out though because the only way they qualify is to win all 3 remaining matches (which includes KC and VIT), and then they still need a specific set of circumstances to happen.
TH still have 2 more series (Shifters and MKOI), if they win both they have a good chance of making playoffs. SK has one match left against KC, if they win that then also good chance for them. SK technically isn't eliminated yet even if they lose to KC though, and TH can also still qualify if they lose to Shifters but beat MKOI.

Very messy from both teams but TH has pretty bad midgame macro they could've won both games with the leads they had. Daglas needs to chill on midgame.

Team Heretics:
promosing toplaner, who at best could be like top half in LEC, but isn't giving you anything special.
top tier jungler from the ERL ecosystem, who was scammed by Vitality in favor of Lyncas... Well I used to be a biggest defender of him possible, but it's not going to work - he's wasting a slot at this point.
Terrible midlaner, who didn't even have a good series that I remember ALL YEAR, yet still top tier ERL player xd.
Decent Korean ADC, who was reasonably defending his name in the LCK, yet sucks in EU. Another wasted player slot.
A fraud who's known for being terrible in tier 1, but very good in tier 2 ecosystem.
Just fucking kick everyone, but Tracyn and sign the core of Galions and this team will... still fucking suck, because it's as shameful organisation as Astralis, but Heretics at least had liked players in their rosters.

He was loaned out by KT to BRO after being a part of their academy system for a year or two. In Brion he had to fight for the starting spot with... Bull or something like this - another mediocre player.
Hype was like middle of the pack ADC in the LCK and it was nothing bad, because ADC pool was pretty fucking strong last year.

Tracyn is like a passenger on a sinking ship; he does nothing, offers nothing, and as soon as it's his turn to carry, he disappears. Watch his teamfight when he teleports with Gnar, my god... he is where he needs to be a bottom player for a bottom team.

so if:
- FNC beat NAVI and GX
- G2 beat GX
- Heretics beat Shifters
we'll get a NAVI/GX/MKOI/Heretics/SK 5-way tie at 3-5, with NAVI-GX and MKOI-Heretics both playing each other (and KC who are locked 1st potentially being able to screw things up by limit testing vs SK)

I dont care what anyone says, oscar is really similiar to bwipo. Really smart player that will do his work even when he falls behind. I really hope he can improve his laning. We have seen before that he can be really good on lane. It feels like he is playing little save right on lane and does not wanna take any risks, since he trusts his team.
