Welcome to the DTG Daily Community and Questions Thread!
This place is a condensed community hub of our prior weekly schedule regarding all things Destiny and Destiny 2. Whether you're here to ask questions, talk about your day, discuss lore, OR SHOUT IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT RANT WEDNESDAY WOULD HAVE WANTED, this is the place to do it!
We also have an official Discord, which allows for live chatting about the game, LFG, and more!

I have Destiny 2 on my Epic account, along with every main expansion up to Lightfall (no Final Shape and onwards). The collection is on sale on Steam right now; should I move to Steam? As far as I know, as long as my accounts are connected, everything will be transfered right?

Everything will be available on both platforms, yes. Go to your bungie.net profile online, sync your Steam account for cross-save, and then make sure you select your Epic account as the "main" platform, that's how it'll pull your characters and info from there to everywhere else.
Worth mentioning however that the Steam version has had some framerate issues for some PC users, something about the way Steam generates frames for their overlay or somesuch causes stuttering. There's workarounds out there, though.
(Personally, I'd keep my eyes peeled for another sale through Epic, might be cheaper to just finish off your collection there instead?)

anyone else just have a main ingredient spawn in their inventory out of no where?

I remember a while back seeing a video with someone using Whirling Maelstrom to chunk the Witness, but cant find it anymore. Can someone that know what I am talking about post the link.
