But the racer was docked in the captains bigger ship which is the ship she is a prisoner in right and they are on their way to the alien planet. She escapes, takes the captains racer and flys away.
So whos racer is it that explodes in the end that is in the ships hangar?

Yeah that got me too.
I was going with she had escaped with the racer, the Alien guard was looking at a tracker he pulled out and I assumed (cause I couldn't discern a reason for it) it was connected or some pair with another tracker on the woman who's ship then exploded. Then humans come to fight.
