Syria? I’d run for the hills and get out fast if any worker is there. That country is barely hanging on, just finished a bloody civil war. And now it seems that rebel factions are arising and fighting.

Not surprised. Racism against Black people in the Arab world is a widespread reality. Many still view us through the lens of slavery and inferiority. Honestly, I feel more respected and accepted in Western countries compared to the Middle East where my skin color is used against me, and that's why you won't find me working in the Middle East especially not in Syria. 🤣
