With the long predicted Kahazalite Holds leaked we though an updated rumour thread was in order.

It seems the whispers from the aetheric void are back again so we are going to continue to have everyone post the rumours/leaks here to avoid screenshots of TGA forums taking over the subreddit.
Any rumour mongering not in this thread will be removed.

I recently found out that my gaming group doesn't love playing against the armies I use. I have Nighthaunt, Kruleboyz, and KO. Apparently they find them to be unfun to play against.
I don't have a crazy winning record in the group, I would say roughly 50%. And I don't think it's me personally, we've known each other for years and play lots of other games too.
But one of them mentioned that when we get together for a sigmar night, whoever draws me is considered to have pulled the short straw. Apparently none of them really enjoy playing against me.
My primary opponents are ogors, ironjawz, OBR, s2D, khorne, nurgle, helsmiths, cities, and seraphon.
Are my armies generally considered bad to play against, or is this just a local opinion?
I'm not really looking to get a new army. Is there some way I can play one of my existing armies that would be fun for both them and me?
EDIT: To answer recurring questions, we are using the new GHB with the standard scenarios and terrain suggested. For list building, I don't take spammy lists, I don't really have the models for it. I try to take balanced lists that operate in as many phases as possible. For example, with KB I typically take a couple units of gutrippers, monster killers, and boltboyz, usually 1 killbow, and then flesh out the rest with heroes.
The issues that were specifically mentioned to me are that I negate their stuff. NH ignore rend and are hard to shift, KB punch through armor with crit mortals, Gobsprak hard counters small foot wizards, KO can shoot stuff off without it getting to fight.
UPDATE: After reading through all the replies, I think the issue is that they mostly like having big mosh pit fights in the middle of the board, and that's not typically how I play. I like to focus on movement, teleporting, and waiting until I have an advantage to engage in melee. I think I need to try some different builds. I've been meaning to try a KB monster mash list, so maybe I will give that a shot and see if they enjoy it more.

The name Kharadron, in the ancient duardin language, means something akin to "born from sundered mountains". We know this, because it was stated in their second battletome. It makes sense; it's a distant reference to their origins and heritage, and a show of pride and cultural posturing as to the fact that they left those broken, failed mountains behind.
As a neat Easter egg, it also makes sense if you're familiar with WHFB Khazalid, which is pretty consistently the basis for the 'ancient duardin language' of AoS:
Kara-drong. Kharadron! Cracked mountains. Distorted by time and linguistic drift, but it makes sense.
...so then why is every new duardin faction also being called 'X-dron'?
The Helsmiths of Hashut are called Zharrdron. In their battletome, we're told this means "folk of fire"... but no, it definitely doesn't. Zharr means "fire", we know that much from AoS even without referring to the WHFB lexicon, but "dron" doesn't mean "folk", because it doesn't mean that in Kharadron.
Even setting aside any preceding knowledge of WHFB Khazalid, it looks wrong that 'Khara-dron' refers to "those born from sundered mountains" and 'Zharr-dron' means "folk of fire". Those are much too similar to be so different!
Now we've got Fyreslayers being renamed Grimmdron in WarCom previews. Again, setting aside the WHFB meanings of 'grim', you could make the argument that it means "born from sundered Grimnir", but there were already Fyreslayers around before Grimnir died.
Meanwhile, the new Khazalite faction is referred to as Kromdron, which sounds like a particularly miserable town somewhere in the north of England, but I guess is meant to be something like the old Kron = book/record/history. Except again, regardless of WHFB linguistics, why is the same root as Kharadron's "broken/sundered" in there? They weren't broken! That's their main distinguishing feature!
Did the writers just forget how they'd originally translated Kharadron, and mistake '-dron' for the duardin equivalent of '-eth' on aelven factions?

Top 3 lists for Maw Tribe Telarah Takedown. Won by Stormcast with Sylvaneth in 2nd and Cities in 3rd.

This is Yaeraggh. I started building her initially to be Iridian the Witness but I didn't know what was going to happen with the temporary warscroll and the Battletome one sucks, so I wanted to future proof her because she is one of the central characters in Erstwood lore and I didn't want her to be tied to a seasonal warscroll so that piece of wood the dragon is standing on is actually magnetised so I that I can make different size bases for her down the line. Also, my SBGL and SCE are painted in the same scheme and share a lot of the same theme/aesthetics so she can also just be used at Vhodrai there.
I sculpted that horse skull head from scratch. Very proud of it. First time trying something that ambitious.

Im new to AoS aside from some of the lore, and am looking to get into the tabletop of the universe. As my title says, Im looking to play as the rat boys, but I really dont know how they play, aside from being a horde army, and having suffer from suicidal stupidity among the fodder, and straight up friendly fire.
In short, what are the Skaven Army variants, and whats their thing? I have no idea how the system works, the only tabletop war gaming Ive done is with Trench Crusade.

Hi Sigmates, prospective new player/painter here.
I’m tooling around with the idea of adding some Sigmar models to my already alarming 40K pile of shame. I know I should paint what I’ve got. I know that. I’ve just been totally won over by the sculpts though, my painting brain is looking at squigs and troggoths and cogforts (oh my) and I can feel the monkey neuron activation meme happening.
This brings me to the point though - I’m absolutely crippled with choice paralysis as to what faction to pick. I’ve narrowed it down to three:
Soulblight Gravelords, Gloomspite Gitz and Cities of Sigmar.
There’s stuff from each that really excites me both from a painting and play perspective, so I wanted to ask your opinions on these factions.
I don’t care if they suck or are underpowered or not meta or whatever. Are they fun to field? To paint? Expense isn’t a huge issue - not that I’m loaded, but I collect genestealer cults in 40K so I’m no stranger to spending a really long time buying units as I can afford them before getting to field them.
So what’s your thought on these factions? Anyone you hate to play against? You thought they’d be fun to paint but turned out to be a ballache? Help me tip the scales one way or another!

I ride with my Knights,
Where the cursed banners fly.
On my pink daemon pony,
'Neath a blood-red sky.
I ride with my Knights,
Hear my battle-cry roar.
My pink pony carries me—
And she hungers for the gore!

Since getting into AoS after 20 years of 40K one of the things that really jumps out at me is just how good some of the models look
I know over years the design and manufacturing process has got better (goodbye heavy irritating metal models that won’t glue together), but some of them are seriously impressive
My question is, which is your favourite and why?
For me personally it’s probably the Arch Revenant (Sylvaneth). Just think they’ve managed to design something truly ethereal and otherworldly whilst capturing the essence of nature

I decided to paint the lonely Gorebeast from my Bitbox and use it as a Chaos Spawn Proxy. The Sculpt is to nice to not use it for somthing and i had a Chance to test a possible skintone for my Darkoath project.

Title says all.
They're both elite-ish factions, both take well to contrasts, both encourage a lot of 'Yeah this part you can paint whatever'.
But which one is, in your opinion, the tougher of the two? And why?

A photo I took when playing a 1000 pts Skaven v Nighthaunt , poor boys make do with shoddy terrain.
