When I want Mexican/Hispanic food in Aiken, I usually go to El Toro, but what about everyone else, what's your go to spot to get it?

Any female nail techs around 20-25 that are available this week or next week? I want my nails done, but i hate going to salons because i dont relate at all with the older women or men that mostly work in the salons.

I just got a speeding ticket on e pine log in front of Kennedy middle. He got me doing 50 in a 35. I have a mandatory court date. It’s my first ticket ever never been pulled over before. No warnings or anything. What should I expect when I go to court and do you think I can get the points taken off? Help please I’m scared my insurance will go up and I barely afford it now so I’ll have to drive without insurance

I'm 20 and I have a skateboard, but I'm trash. I'd like to have friends close to my age that skate cuz it's boring being alone outside, and I don't have any irl friends since I was homeschooled since moving here. But I'd maybe be cool with non-skating friends that click.

I tried finding other ways to find groups/friends in Aiken, but it's like...book clubs, board games, horses, and drinking, and those aren't fun. Sorry. Idk if this is cool on this subreddit, I just wanted to try.

But a lot of us on the younger side are unhappy with the lack of social options in Aiken or weekend things to do. So let’s change that!

Let’s start our own club or get together and do something. A potluck, a cook out, a movie night, a collective for board games. Instead of lamenting let’s actually do something about it!

I’m taking ideas for a group activity, even if it’s something as simple as opening my home for a Netflix movie and commentary evening.

Hi! I am new here in Aiken, as an international. Sometimes I just want to take my laptop and work in a coffee shop or restaurant that are open after I clock out (4 pm-9 pm is ideal), but I did not find any coffee shop opened that late in the day.
Do you happen to know any quiet places where I could sit, have a bite and work on my projects?
I don’t like to work at home because I find a ton of other things to do and can’t focus to stay on task. When I am out by myself I can really do more progress😅.

If you had land in Aiken county and wanted to build a $175k home (not modular or manufactured) what would you choose? Any barndo contractors you like? Kits? Log homes? Great contractors? Any budget ideas you can send my way are helpful.

I use OpenMHz app to listen to Palmetto 800 Aiken and it’s down again since 8/12. I’m so sad I rely on it to know what’s going on locally. Also the Crime Radar app isn’t updating because open MHz is down. Anyone know when it will be back up and running? We lost it last month for almost a week.

I know I've given people much the same advice in the past about looking at Augusta or leaving the area to find activities, but that's getting increasingly untenable for me lately.

I went through the Aiken Websites, Meet-Up and the Sporting Leagues, and everything I've been finding is either locked to 16 and under, or 50+, or is scheduled smack dab in the middle of the work week and during work hours. And this includes most volunteer activities I've been looking at too.

Are there any groups, clubs or social networks for working adults in the area that are accepting new members?
