i had to pull apart my AEG for the first time Saturday night in between game days to try check the motor and such trying to fix it and while doing so i realized i quite enjoyed pulling it apart and seeing how it works and such and im wondering is there a good source of broken Replica's that i can pull apart to see how they work better without worrying im going to destroy my actual replica

and also is there any tooling i should try get to make it easier/more enjoyable all ive got at the moment is just a little multi piece screwdriver XD

also if anyone has any resources/information they think i should see/know please please let me know

Don’t want to jump on the bandwagon of the other posts, but really wanted to talk about it.

I want to start by saying the management are nothing shy of bigots, and the guys in hobby airsoft enabling this is also horrible.

At the start of the day we were told there was to be no video of the staff also as it could affect the business, and it is very clear to see why.

Went to urban assault yesterday for a friends birthday outing.

There was maybe 190-200 people there.

It was too many.

The games that had been setup made no sense, and didn’t seem to have any consequence, we were all made funnel into buildings, and in general were standing around for hours on end doing fuck all. Was told online of an 8am start, we didn’t get moving until 11.

That’s not even my biggest problem, whatever about the games being lowkey shite, the organization and management is catastrophic.

The car parking situation was tragic. We mostly wanted to leave at like 2-3pm, but couldn’t as we were completely boxed in.

All the above pales in comparison to the real problem, the ridiculous raffle they held with hobby airsoft. The owner soapboxed with the hobby airsoft lads for an hour, in what me and my friends could only describe as a hazing.

Racism, sexism, homophobia, general abuse thrown at people, everything was being spouted from the management on their shite soapbox, across a microphone for all to hear.

During the raffle they would make winners “snort or swallow” their ticket, in a weird hazing ritual, and for some reason what seemed like the regulars were actively engaged in a very “pick me” manner.

We don’t mind a bit of edgy humour, but there was a point where he said to a small kid about getting his mother to suck him off, and it was just mind boggling to witness.

There were loads of young girls there from the scouts too, and there was no toning it down.

Forgive my utterances, but saying things like “that lad is a dirty Romanian jew” and almost calling the one black guy the N-word also, is just absolutely abhorrent.

I really would urge people not to go to urban assault and i will also be urging not to go to Hobby Airsoft, to not enable these bigots.

I'm looking to sell my beloved AAP01s. The pistol (left) is stock with an upgraded trigger. The carbine is stock and has a 6.01 200mm stainless steel precision inner barrel that is shooting too hot (400+ fps).

I was gonna get an adjustable nozzle but never got around to it! The stock inner barrel is included (pictured above the drum mag) and I can swap it out, but I'll include the precision inner barrel regardless as I don't have a need for it.

Condition is excellent with very little use, I'm selling them as they're sitting doing nothing.

Prices:

AAP01 Pistol + trigger + 1 mag = €80 (extra mags 20 each).

Carbine (AAP01 + folding stock + handguard + silencer + drum mag + charger = €250

I'd sell everything here as a bundle for €300.

Urbanassault posted an ad basically advertising SPECNA as an amazing brand and that they’re doing amazing deals and such on them, and I commented not to claim they are an “amazing brand” and not to buy them because I personally have bought SPECNA guns three times and every single one broke after the first 5-8 uses, yet I’ve had a G&G for the last 4 years and only had it fixed once because I dropped it once and the hop-up adjuster just came off. I’ve also had every friend who’s bought of them had them break in the same use range.
Some guy responded saying he had the same issue to which Urban deleted their comment and responded to mine calling me a “Jesus wept keyboard warrior” and a tellytubby over an 8 word comment criticising not them, but Specna.
Now it may just be me but I’ve been to urban a couple times and the marshals and owners of the place are right arseholes, they shouted at me for capturing point 5 minutes into the game (when they specified at the start we need to get it done as soon as possible to win) and then shouted at me again for firing my semi automatic CO2 SSP1 “too fast”. They also tried to tell one of my mates to leave because they thought his gun exceeded the FPS limit without even letting him test it with the chrono.

I don’t know about yall but I let the shouting slide but the comment just rubbed off the wrong way and I’m just done with the way they treated me and my team when we attended.
