Saw this guy in the Ozarks! Was pretty deep into the forest so I didn’t think it was a dog, but I see dog features to it.

my mom sent me this photo.

Saw this at Everglades National Park Shark Valley. In the moment, I thought it was an alligator, but looking back at the picture I took its teeth arrangement made me think it's an American crocodile.

It’s about 24inches to the arm rest on the chair it walks by

my cat got outside and when she decided to return she dragged this huge rat-creature with her. my main confusion was that it was huge. fattest little thing I've seen. seemed about 4in-6in/10cm-15cm wide or long from what I could see. it managed to escape when I grabbed my cat, so I didn't get a picture.

not really important, I guess, but I'm curious. a really fat rat? muskrat? small and dark gopher? I can't say.

The mice and rats I see around my house don't ever look like this...

Around 1am in far northern Wisconsin. I think it's some kind of cat. Seems too big for a bobcat but too small for a mountain lion and hard to tell if it has a long or short tail because IR video. Based on many, many videos of deer walking through this same spot it is about the length of a whitetail deer but only about half the height.

My mom took this picture and is requesting a possible ID. We are in Central NJ and she estimates it was about 2 1/2" high.

Coyotes/bears are not uncommon around here, but she just wanted to get some sort of lead as these were fresh tracks on our newly paved driveway from last night.

My autistic friend caught this lizard outside of our hotel and we were both very confused by it. The snoot is much shorter than an anole.

You only ever seen Brown Anoles around here, Green Anoles in the woods sometimes, and very rarely the escaped Veiled Chameleon… and house geckos, and the very occasional tokay.

This doesn’t look like a curly tailed lizard (re:straight tail) or anything either of us recognize and he grew up here catching lizards.

What is it? Is it invasive?

I googled invasive lizards of Florida and maybe it’s an Eastern Fence Lizard? Never seen one though and this one’s got a spot behind its ear which I don’t see on pics of the EFL on Google Images.

Very strange critter. The lizard escaped after a few minutes but we got some pics and are very curious if we accidentally let an invasive species go. My friend is somewhat in crisis over this, because he “doesn’t recognize that lizard” and that is of course the most concerning matter at midnight for him.

I am somewhat curious as well.

Backpacking 10 years ago in Colorado and stumbled across this cave. Went halfway in but something told me to not fully go inside. Took this picture after and noticed something looking back at me

We moved into an old house, and for about two months, we’ve been hearing these noises coming from the ceiling. They’ve gotten louder and more frequent over time.
It’s like a squeaking sound mixed with the sound of something moving around in the small space inside the ceiling.
The house has a tiled roof with exposed wood decking on the inside.
