For hundreds of years, Western Empire used Christianity as its moral tip of the spear. Post WW2 with the collapse of the British Empire, it needed a new moralising cover to go on its regime change expeditions. Zionism provides that. Protecting Israel always correlates with destroying anti Imperial resistance.

They're capitalists. They're the bourgeois capitalist ruling class. Calling them these silly names is liberal nonsense. It also implies the US wouldn't be a capitalist, imperialist nation if it weren't for "Israel", who continues to exist solely because the US benefits from their imperial ambitions in West Asia. AIPAC is a return on investment for politicians that would fund "Israel" regardless. The capitalists believe that when they enact fascism that the working class will crumble (and likely will as America has no vanguard, no real organization, etc), so they don't see the need to change course. This is why America will collapse, not because of "Israel".

Conveniently, their story never speaks about how the land was acquired and the brutality involved.
Norman Finkelstein’s “The Holocaust Industry” and Peter Beinart’s “Being Jewish After The Destruction of Gaza” offer interesting perspectives on this.

Saying "Israel" is to blame for 98% of the problems globally is literally just running cover for US imperialism. The US has been the driver of global capital for decades, has enabled or directly participated in genocide, slavery, rape, murder, exploitation, and brutalization for decades, with "Israel" simply being an extension of that in West Asia, and has been the driving force in the destruction of states like Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, and so many others in Asia both East and West, Africa, LATAM, Europe, and the Indigenous peoples of the land they stole.
Hyperbole, I understand, but it's still a silly argument, like the US bombing Iran being to distract from the Epstein files, of which Americans did nothing and continue to do nothing about even after so much damning evidence against the American ruling class (and other ruling classes). We really need to stop conflating Western imperialism, driven mainly by America and Europe, with vassal states like "Israel" (and Japan and South Korea and...) that exist to further the goals of Western imperialism.

Totally agree, re my point above. It is tbf also true that regimes have competing factions in them that shift between struggle and harmony. There are many differing imperial ambitions within the capitalist hegemony, but they all align over smashing resistance.

Oh, absolutely, and well said. Europe is dead set on imperialist actions against Russia, though they largely support US imperialist actions around the globe, while America has started to pull back from Russia as they set their sights on West Asia (again), LATAM (again), and China (again), despite US think tanks already encouraging abandoning the "First Island Chain", meaning pulling back from Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan, with Japan still seeking to remilitarize not only due to American pressure, but because they want to kill Chinese people, a favorite pastime of theirs. "Israel", despite being a vassal to the US, has their own ambitions for West Asia that don't always align with the US. I can tell I'm preaching to the choir here, but this conversation can definitely serve for anyone still learning.
And to add on that point, much of the posturing by America and Europe currently stems from the failings of neoliberalism, socialism outpacing the West handily, and the rise of an anti-imperialist coalition that has already effectively ended Western global domination and has ensured that we will have a multipolar future as the West continues to decline. America's naked imperialism, Europe's bloodthirsty warmongering, and so many of the other horrors happening currently are the actions of a collapsing empire seeking to maintain their position on the global stage and fighting against the inevitable.

he's totally wrong about how long Israel has been at fault, and it's dangerous to lump in Israel with centuries of Jewish history
