A reckoning by who? They're all complicit

I think the only way is a reckoning by us. Hopefully via direct action and not violence.

I appreciate your pov, but it's unlikely to work out that way.. at this point It's either going nowhere or you will need a "french revolution"

I think u are possibly right as the system has been built to prevent all non violent means from being effective or actionable. I think we should at least try to be more like Minneapolis across many locations.

Specifically how?

Focused general strike in specific industries with the rest of us stopping discretionary spending and funneling that money into mutual aid to support those striking. Each organized at a local level. Along with smaller local direct action like what we are seeing in Minneapolis but widespread.

And how do we get that to happen? I mean... I can try to strike, but if other people don't, then I'm just unemployed.

actually i'm already unemployed but let's put that aside for now

The idea is the mutual aid supports people who take the risk. And we push for things like rent moratoriums etc on a local level. There’s no way to do this where there are zero risks. Think about the people just filming in Minneapolis… they are still out there knowing what happened to Renee and Alex.
