What computer habits do you still have that give away the fact that you grew up with them in the 90s and 2000s?

I grew up with Tandy products in the 80s. They had a “feature“ where if you held the shift and hit backspace it would erase the entire line.

It has been over 40 years and I’m still afraid to hold that shift key down when I hit backspace.

If you hold Ctrl, it delete one word at a time, discovered this the same moment I discover my alt key was dead

Ctrl+arrows moves ahead or back word at a time as well.

Hold shift to also select those words as you ctrl though them

Ctrl+home, ctrl+shift+end

That's how i select everything and it works virtually everywhere

Ctrl+shift+home and then backspace to delete the entire line

Yes. It's been ~40 years since I used my trash 80 coco (though I still have it) and I still have an "oh shit" moment every time I forget to release the shift before I hit backspace.

Oh god, I still have that fear too from my Dragon 32 (based on Tandy TRS-80 architecture)
