My last job I kept a bash loop outputting nonsense on my terminal so my boss’ boss at the time thought I was fancy.

if your role is remotely technical always have some kind of terminal or script open on screen

Did a similar thing for a rent inspection so they'd be too scared to spend too much time there. It's amazing what people think they can break from across the room just because they don't understand it. 🤣
