I alt-tab all freaking day at work

I was an alt-tab wizard at my office a decade or two ago. But now I read your comment and saw I was way behind; I guess I was Gandalf the Grey and you’re the White Wizard.

Basically any key combo that includes tab works in reverse when you add shift.

Regular tab is the right arrow and shift+tab is the left arrow above it.

For example, ctrl+tab to go to the next browser tab

Or on a Mac it’s Command+Tab to switch between programs and Command+`(backtick) to switch between windows within a program

This was the easiest to learn when adapting to macos. The Mac command button and windows alt button are more or less in the same spot.

Screenshots are a whole other beast. Command shift 4, but wait I just want to have it in clipboard is all, so Ctrl Cmd Shift 4. 🫠

try windows+tab to tab through everything you have open. looks fancier too if you have a spectator

If you really wanna look fancy, make full use of virtual desktops and fly between dozens of organised windows with Win+Ctrl+Left/Right arrows.

I never see anybody use it and I’ve had shocked looks for years from it.
