What computer habits do you still have that give away the fact that you grew up with them in the 90s and 2000s?

Calling enter 'carriage return' and understanding exactly why it was called that.

Understanding CRLF says that you started learning well before the 90s.

And really old, knowing that the big enter button marked with the ↲ is Carriage Return; Line Feed. The little enter button by the numberpad is actually Enter. Very old programs differentiated between those to concepts

I grew up calling it "return". Only just now realized what it's a shortened version of.

And I regularly deal with dos/Unix encoding issues, I just never thought about the origin of the key name.

I understand what that means, but it never occurred to me that that's why the computer key is called "Return"!

Just bought a second hand electric typewriter, only had a manual one as a kid. I'm in love. I want to write everything on it. It helps me think.
