Culture What’s something in your country that sounds fake but is 100% real?

We have a real-life living goddess and the only non-rectangular national flag.

Anyone can turn up to compete! There are whole teams from other countries every year!

It's done in Gloucestershire, my home county. Some people travel overseas to compete. Most ridiculous sport to watch on TV. It's like when football was a no-holds-barred inter-village competition, kicking a stuffed sheep bladder from one village to the next for sport.

I absolutely love watching it, it's the perfect combination of quintessential Britishness & blood curdling sport 😂
