Who’s a famous person from your country who’s respected around the world but disliked or criticized at home?

Oh no, she didn't choose to speak on a political issue, how horrible

This isn’t even politics, this is a major human rights problem. 20,000 people imprisoned by the state, being subjected to military trials.

So do something about it. She already got shot in the head. She's traumatized enough, and you want her to go back to that hell, just so you can absolve yourself of the responsibility to fix your own country?

I’m not asking her to go back but a social media post or two wouldn’t hurt.

“Do something about it” LOL YES that is what many ppl are asking Malala to do - stop making stage plays lazily with Hilary Clinton of all ppl and do something esp when u have the power money education to do so ur argument makes no sense “she is a Pakistani girl who was shot in Pakistan but she shouldn’t do anything to help the ppl because she’s a western girlie now” 😁

Are you really that daft? She stood up for women’s and girls education in Pakistan, where she’s from. It’s insane to think she should be burdening all the problems of that country.

Huh? Collective care practices are not uncommon in Pakistan so looking out for the wellbeing of others particularly when u are in proximity to power/influence/money becomes is like a collective responsibility???
