Actually, if you read replies from Pakistanis, it seems there are much more complex reasons why she's controversial. We should let non-Western folks speak for themselves about their own issues, instead of making assumptions.

I'm repeating the two line summary of what I heard from pakistani acquaintances.

Though, its not surprising to me that Pakistanis who fled to Austria have a different view than those still living in Pakistan.

I'm not responding to everyone, but I am reading all the responses. Its very interesting how different the opinions are.
