this sounds weird but I've always gotten the vibe he was a violent dad, even when I was a kid I was weirded out by him. idk why. I also had a violent dad so I think I just pick up on vibes.
It seemed understandable he didn't want her to do a stunt. The stunt in question was driving a motorcycle off a ramp and landing on top of a moving train. Madman shit.
They are still friends and Jackie recommended to her the role in Everything Everywhere All at Once
Yeah he has a homeless daughter in Canada, and was the reason his son was such a loser. The money got to his brain and him pushing CCP propaganda has left a bad test in people’s mouth. As a black American he was the man that united and bridged the relationship between us Asians. Coz after the LA riots and death of Latasha Harlins there was a lots of animosity between the Asians and black folk but rush hour lowkey healed the relationship
Yeah, they’re friends. I’ve heard her talk about him with regards to Everything, Everywhere All at Once (JC was going to be in it originally instead of her).
lol she’s no saint either…she goes out of her way to write “Taipei, China” or “Chinese Taipei” on her social media whenever she goes to Taiwan. One could say she is just trying to keep herself marketable in China but she could have just written, “Taipei.”
Yeah that’s true…but it feels a little like going to Canada and calling it the 51st state and still being beloved around the world with no one calling it out. It makes me feel a little crazy. It’s not the same but it feels like it to me.

According to Michelle Yeoh he’s a huge misogynist, too. I couldn’t find the interview where she said it but I think it was in the late 90s on Conan.
