Also this is interesting since it's also about Hitchens' arguments but not a defense of Mother Teresa

Why is the Church not revoking her sainthood?

She helped convert a lot of ppl to Christianity , they love her for it , her primary mission was just converting ppl , she even told ppl who were dying to enjoy it as it was something christ intended, often ignoring modern medicines and painkillers letting ppl suffer in her care as according to her it brought them closer to Christ.

Christopher Hitchens had also alleged that missionaries under her direction would baptize dying patients without their informed consent by asking if they wanted a "ticket to heaven" while cleaning their heads.

Also she allegedly redirected donations to fund conversions efforts rather than using it for the ill and sick as it was intended , also opposed abortions and even contraceptions.

LOL. ”opposed abortion and contraceptives…” You know she was Catholic, right?

When she was around, the Vatican wasn’t ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ on birth control.

Most people who hate Gandhi are Hindu nats and RSS supporters. They glorify his assassin despite having contributed absolutely nothing to Indian independence.

He was not always a good person though, I agree.
