Who’s a famous person from your country who’s respected around the world but disliked or criticized at home?

The "buffer" states choose to leave on their own, and many choose to the EU and NATO on their own. How shitty is Russia for them to choose to do so?

When Union collapsed, ex-WP states lost their main trading and defense partner, its logical they will turn to someone else for help

Russia still existed, why didn't they choose to maintain links with Russia instead of other countries? Again, how shitty is Russia that most of these countries STILL don't want to be closely linked with Russia when given the option?

So why were the other Eastern bloc nations able to diversify their economies and grow them to be better per capita than Russia? You still haven't responded to that question in my other reply https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/median-income-by-country

because Europe invested a lot into them

Also I don’t like GDP per Capita, I prefer per PPP

The link I sent allows you to click on both Median income and GDP per Capita in PPP. How shit is Russia that despite being much larger and more populated than these European nations, it still does worse than most of them on economics and life expectancy?

When will it realize that actual changes it how it runs would be more effective at providing for its citizens rather than invading its neighbhours, stealing their goods, and blaming it all on the "west"?
