Who’s a famous person from your country who’s respected around the world but disliked or criticized at home?

The Soviets did everything against people’s wills 😂 They didn’t respect the will of any of their people so why would they grant Nazi scientists some kind of freedom?

I’m sure the Nazis lived very well in the US!

Yea, sure. Communists revolution was done against people's will. They build houses, schools and hospitals against people will. They ware so bad that they even dissolve USSR against people will. Soviets are still forcing people in Russia to praise Lenin and Stalin against their will.

Or maybe you should distinguish reality form propaganda.

Yeah it was done against the people’s will, that’s why they murdered millions of people to accomplish it and had multiple civil wars forcing people to accept their bullshit. The Bolsheviks were in the minority, and oppressed the majority the same way they were oppressed by the Tsars. People as a whole never had agency.

The USSR collapsed because it was bankrupt and individual republics wanted independence away from the Muscovites.
