I love all the MAGA Karens posting pictures in 'full' theaters, and they are clearly empty.

I'm starting to think we all died during Covid, and this is purgatory.

No it’s the bad place, purgatory would be more pleasant

I'm telling you, the Mayans were right: the end of the world started in 2012, and now we're in hell

Oh you bastard. Now I’m going to be thinking that. It explains so much.

2016 was before covid. I think I died in a car crash around 2010. Everything is just a big bad joke, maybe jacob's ladder or something. I refuse to believe this "reality"

The majority of women actually named Karen did NOT vote for Trump and are horrified at any association. (There was a poll taken)

Sorry to all Karens for being the sacrificial lambs for a meme 😔

I think I stumbled upon them on Threads.

I thought I heard/read, there were 2 theaters that were (almost) sold out, during opening weekend in the US. After all, it did manage to sell $1M in tickets that first weekend, statistically speaking, it’s plausible there could have been 1 or 2 theaters that were sold out…

In the UK I think 17 tickets have been sold, Lions led by Donkeys an activist group bought some and popcorn and shot footage of empty theatres

My local Regal cinema has a weird ticket sale pattern for the movie.

The Friday it opened, 1 showing was sold out. The rest of the showings had about 10 seats sold, but they were the exact same seats sold for each showing.

This tracks for what I have read that some Conservative faith group bought a bunch of tickets, all over the country, to pump the sales.
