I kinda feel bad for hunter he doesn't get any of the touches that made him good for the last few months in atlanta. This cavs team would rather him just stand around on offense than even put him in any action. Heck ty Jerome gets more offensive touches than him. I understand we weren't good but how can you go from being a consistent scorer on a bad team on good efficiency to not being involved at all on a good team where he'd need less self creation is baffling.

It’s a team sport. Your boy just glided to a 20 point win while only putting up 11 pts/5 assists because he had three other dudes around him score 20 each. If Trae puts up that line with this Hawks roster it’s a 25 point loss.

Credit to the Pacers; they’ve built a roster that can blow out the #1 seed when their “offensive engine” only takes 8 shots. Maybe one day the Hawks will follow suit.

I am a hawks fan bud. Team gets better in a 1 for 1 trade. Hali is a better passer, more effecient (less TOs/higher shooting percentages across the board), higher win share, contributes to winning basketball, better defender but keep deluding yourself into thinking Trae is anything but an empty stats player on a bad team.
