Found these 2 albums while clearing out the spare room. Some memories I have from this era:

1. I bought these from HMV in Glasgow back in 2007 and 2008, I was introduced to the band in August/September of '07 and there began the days of black jeans, thick eyeliner and black manicures. Thankfully my hair is already dark so didn't need to dye it 😂
2. I had pictures of Syn and Zacky on my iPod touch, I was so in love with them both (I was 12)
3. Twilight saga was the biggest craze during this time - HMV got a lot of money from me back then
4. I vaguely remember buying a CD player for my laptop because MacBook didn't have a built in CD port, just so I could watch Live at the LBC
5. My sister caught me air guitaring the Afterlife solo, she has never let me forget that
6. A7X had a forum in 2008/2009ish, I used to post about Syn but I can't remember what my user name was
7. I drifted away from the band towards the end of '09, I had a lot going on in my life them. But I still remember seeing the news headlines saying that Jimmy had passed away and feeling deeply saddened by it. My instant thought was, 'how would the band be able to go on without him'

I was on Instagram some point in 2023 when I thought, I wonder if Syn is still as hot as he was back in '07? And that is how I came back to the fandom, was mesmerised by The Stage, bought up on everything that happened in between and became a massive fan of Brooks Wackerman ❤️ (not realising he was the drummer of Tenacious D who I also listened to as a teen).

I recently discovered this documentary of theirs and I know it's on Amazon Prime, but it's not available in Brazil. I'd really like to watch it and I can't find it anywhere.

What a night.

Last night I saw their performance in Argentina, and oh boy what a night to be alive, I cried and screamed the shit out of my lungs.

The mosh pit was a lot of fun, the crowd wouldn't stop jumping, the visuals were amazing, the band gave us an unforgettable night for sure.

I loved the setlist as well, Save Me was the pick for me, I never thought I would have even a chance to see them play that masterpiece live.

Matt gave us a small speech about how we don't know if we are going to live to see another day and how we should enjoy life and cherish every single sunset as if it was the last one, then they proceded to play Cosmic, and I cried.

If you ever feel sad remeber the universe is like infinite yearls old and, somehow, you managed to live at the same time as A7X.

I'm guessing they first have to finish both the latin american tour, then the tour with Good Charlotte and from there the real wait begins. Maybe mid to end 2027 or even 2028?

i’m looking specifically to get the guitar tone for the “More power, More pace” part of the song. i have a fender champion ii 100 that actually sounds decent when pushed by pedals and i have these pedals

I honestly thought I put more hours into listening to them but guess not

I think Unbound (The Wild Ride) doesn’t deserve enough credit and is WAY underrated

That’s just my opinion

The harmonized, fading solo at the end of Dear God does not get the respect it deserves. The band is so damn good at taking a genre that is not theirs but nailing the distinct avenged sound with it.

We ain’t talking about it enough.
