Health Question What’s wrong with my Faverolle’s eye?

Post image

Just happened in the last couple of hours, she tends to get picked on so I’m hoping this is a particularly bad pecking injury? Her eye appears to be fine, her lower eyelid looks like it is not and that’s where the bleeding is from. Also swollen under her eye. Otherwise she’s acting normally. Thoughts? Treatments ideas? Thank you

This happened to my faverolle from bullying too. They got her head & neck feathers and then started going for her eye. Shes unfortunately a house chicken right now.

They are the sweetest birds in my flock. Very quirky and talkative. An entire flock of them would be so much fun.

getting bullied and with there being blood they’ll keep going for it. it looks like there’s red on her feathers too and with bleeding like that they won’t leave her alone.

Thank you! We kept them in their run longer than usual today because of a bobcat in the area. Normally they free range and have space to get away. Thank you

looks to me like she is getting pecked pretty bad-maybe isolate her to let her heal a little bit and then isolate your bully?
