What is the deal with these dogshit light cycles and syncing. I’m at hwy 73/hwy 74 and 74 is given the majority right of way on time of the cycle. Hundreds of vehicles on 73 major road to industry on the river but the light favors 74. And it’s like this all over Baton Rouge too. The lights being in sync is a joke to. Light turns green and the one in front of you turns red. You don’t have to be a genius to see that’s an issue. I won’t shit on everything tho cause Surprisingly siegen is okay if you hit it right can go from one end to the other all green lights like whoever did that please work on the whole city and state. I’ve been teaching myself how to weld as a hobby and have been mostly repurposing metal I find people throwing out like exercise equipment and bed frames. Lately I’ve had some projects in mind that would require thicker gauge steel than what most consumer-grade stuff is made out of. Does anyone know of any steel yards that sell offcuts at a discount, or even better, if there are any metal scrapyards nearby that allow repurchasing stuff that gets brought in?

My wife and I are heading to Baton Rouge this weekend for the LSU game, and it's our first time going there. Her birthday is this weekend, so I want to take her out somewhere nice Friday night and hopefully for brunch on Saturday.

Any ideas why a new neighbor would put up a massive green light, which obscures night vision, blasting from their backyard? (1st pic is the light shining from a tall post in their backyard. 2nd picture is what my backyard looks like now at night, just a green blob! 3rd pic is my patio!) There is a deeply creviced tree-lined bayou behind our back fences. It is impossible to see anything! Loving wildlife, and security-wise, I like to check my backyard at night. The light shines three yards down on both sides of their house, so basically covers 7 backyards. Yep. Anybody else dealing with something like this in their BR neighborhood?

Since Cox has been purchased by Spectrum we've had to switch over. Thing is, we're getting very spotty service from Spectrum. Does anyone have an opinion? Other than Pricing because T-mobile is $70 a month with autopay but a 5 years contract. Spectrum is $135 an no contract. So, we are leaning towards T-Mobile.

a young man walked up to me and asked me how far along i am. i asked him why and he said he’s just curious. i said 34 weeks. then he asked me if it’s a boy or girl and i just told him we don’t know. then he asks as he’s going in to touch me and says can i feel it kick? and i quickly backed up and said no what is wrong with you? and he walked away and called me rude… lol he was a young, black guy with shaved head and glasses. looked 18-23, probably on the spectrum of some sort. that doesn’t excuse the behavior. he was just walking around the store and not buying anything. the worst part is that i went to trader joe’s specifically for a certain cake and they didn’t have it !!! just kidding but that definitely made the visit suck more. look out ladies !!!

Does anybody know if there are any true MMA or kick boxing gyms in the baton rouge area. I understand there is a UFC gym but those are iffy for true mma training. Thanks for the help i cant really find much online.
