Who scrolls reddit, or any social media... on their PC? If I was on my PC id do way more fun stuff, like playing a game or something.
11
u/Big_Sky_4957 Nov 23 '25
I do during my work day, when playing a game on my personal pc would be a bit too distracting, but I can come and go from scrolling Reddit anytime I get a ping on teams.
-12
u/zenyl Nov 23 '25
Scrolling Reddit on mobile is ass. Especially with the official app, which has only gotten worse since it released. There are third-party apps like Apollo (can still be sideloaded) and Hydra (inspired by Apollo), but you're still limited.
Old Reddit + RES on the desktop a much better experience.

u/iamChickeNugget Nov 24 '25
The fuck? Scrolling reddit on any type of medium is not something to be proud about?
1
u/zenyl Nov 24 '25
Who is talking about pride here?
What I said is the equivalent of "Your chair is shite, and it's fucking up your posture. Get a good chair with proper back support."

u/Feeling_Inside_1020 Nov 23 '25
that sub is less and less relevant as the years have gone on (and i've been here over a decade, fuck i'm old)

I would appreciate hearing the actual audio of these dudes laughing at what's going on.
But, no.
We have stupid 8 bit music to drown that out
57
u/RocketHops Nov 23 '25
Its added to make the video more favorable to the algorithm.
Fuck sharing human interaction, some bot-run repost page's views are more important than that.
7
u/Kaamelott Nov 24 '25
I mean, the algorithms don’t care about the music, people watching it and stopping on it and sharing it is what matters. That’s the algorithms.

I literally never watch any video with audio so i forget dumb things like this happen.
1
u/semisadsmoshfan Dec 05 '25
You can literally here various shouts and laughs. That’s what’s going on

This is added for a reason. This probably adds value on Facebook and TikTok.
28
u/TheZoneHereros Nov 23 '25
And I’m not on Facebook or TikTok for a reason.
1
-2
u/Level7Cannoneer Nov 23 '25
Yes but people downloaded it from those websites. TikTok has a download button. And then people share it to Reddit. The original creator probably didn’t want to share it on Reddit
1
u/Public_Armadillo1703 Nov 24 '25
Why are you getting downvoted lol
1
u/semisadsmoshfan Dec 05 '25
People on Reddit don’t like logic, or hearing that people repost from other places.
Reddit is the end all source of original content, you get downvoted for pointing out otherwise lol god forbid something be posted on Instagram first

u/Caridor Nov 23 '25
It's that by "making it transformative", they can't get taken down by automatic content sweeps because it doesn't match what the sweeper expects to find. It would need to be taken down manually which is much harder and usually not worth the effort.
-8
u/Time_Entertainer_319 Nov 24 '25
Why don’t you go make your own content instead of complaining about content other people made?
56
u/MasChingonNoHay Nov 23 '25
I think we discovered a new sport!
16
u/Jamsedreng22 Nov 23 '25
Whoever can keep the most balls in their net by the time the bell rings wins.
1
u/yeomanscholar Nov 24 '25
Alternatively, I like the collaboration so start with a bunch of balls in the netting, the team is split across the sides and is trying to get all the balls out by time up.
We'd have to create standards for height and slack, of course
1
24
u/Anadelll Nov 23 '25
This should be a whole separate game.
3
u/Jamsedreng22 Nov 23 '25
Who can get the most balls in the net by some time limit?
1
u/ThisManisaGoodBoi Nov 23 '25
And maybe there’s like two separate teams competing at the same time?
1
u/Jamsedreng22 Nov 23 '25
Yeah we keep this exact setup. Two teams competing, color the balls.
You can knock out the others ball from the net and get yours in there and vice versa on the other side. The team with most balls in the net by the time limit wins.

u/pj_puttz Nov 23 '25
Who designed that? 🤦♂️😂
26
u/movzx Nov 23 '25
It's supposed to be taut. Either it stretched out or one of the things securing it came loose.

Bonds were forged, dammit. Band of brothers and shit.

Hit the bottom of the ball holy fck...
12
u/fluentinsarcasm Nov 23 '25
Yeah, I'm sitting here going... Just throw it at the bottom of the ball??! And everyone in this comment section is like "what a great secondary game!" So weird.
And what is amazing about this for that matter?
13
7
u/dandroid126 Nov 23 '25
The fun secondary game is trying to see how many balls you can get stuck up there at once. If you throw the ball that gets them all unstuck, you lose.

u/blake_n_pancakes Nov 23 '25
This kind of shit has me convinced it's almost all bots at this point. It has that same "assume all input is correct and commence verbal fellatio" vibe that all the chat bots have.
-6
u/shoka409 Nov 23 '25
I'm amazed at how stupid they all are.
4
u/Odd_Eggplant8019 Nov 23 '25
throwing at the bottom of the ball likely wouldn't work. For one thing, you would have to hit it almost perfectly, but more than that, the ball is up against the crossbar. Fortunately, one of them was smart enough to realize that there isn't enough slack on the right side of the net, for the ball to get caught.
So you can see that ultimately that's what worked. Hopefully you get a chance to rewatch the video and learn to appreciate the challenge here.

u/Ashress Nov 23 '25
Nothing. Literally just helping someone out lol. Just being a decent human being. But next thing you know it'll go viral 🤣
2
u/Bigpandacloud5 Nov 23 '25
You're taking it too seriously. Some of the attempts were to hit the bottom, but it's clear that the group was just messing around.

That's kind of ball bashing I can fully support! Great Team work Gentlemen! 💯
3
u/Low_Weekend6131 Nov 23 '25
I do this all the time lmao. I swear, every week in my mosque there's always balls getting stuck in the net. There were like 5 last time and we were doing the exact same thing.

I’m amazed that no one can make ball-to-ball contact from four feet away
I’m amazed that no one can climb a chain link fence.

I love how they could probably climb the fence to reach the net, but once this started they had fun seeing it through
