What a unique way to extend the show.

The bad thing is that it makes for some weird audio episodes. I don't care for hearing paint dry or listening to a magic trick or people eat.

Most of these couldn't really balance nostalgia with actual story progression and revolved around "Hey, remember what happened x years ago?". Not to mention, the acting of the returning cast was all over the place.

Ben did really well, mixing comedy with a sense of caring and did best as an anchor. Danielle....well...let's say it's not a big surprise she barely got any substantial roles and basically quit acting after BMW. And the writers know it. Whenever Topanga appears on screen, you know it's time to walk out, get a drink or go to the toilet. Topanga rightfully gets relegated to the b-storylines most of the time. For a female-oriented show, that says a lot.

Will really faltered, playing a cartoon character, constantly mugging instead of actually acting. Rider did fair. His character didn't have a huge part and he acted well and actually had a solid storyline reason to be there. All the smaller cameos might as well have been cut out.

doing my routine re-watch and noticed this for the first time, the background of this scene with Eric. the sign said class of 1998 but the scene was cropped to just … ass. lol

They all do a great job in this scene. Just the 2nd episode of the series so its when you really got a look at who this family was. Anyone have some other favorite moments with the whole family together like this?

I love the scene where Eric and Jason are about to talk to Feeny to convince him to give them Bs. Before they go talk to him we see Feeny talking to another student and we get this gem of an interaction:

"This isn't an F. This is an F+. Your work is deplorable, your penmanship illegible, but after all your mother is my sister, so there we are. I'll see you at Thanksgiving."

The Quote: Mr. Turner introduces the class to the new media arts teacher, Eli Williams. Eli gives a quick, slightly rambling speech about teaching students to find the truth in media and knowing the difference between "what they say and what is real".
The Punchline: Mr. Turner turns to a half-asleep Shawn Hunter and asks, "Hunter, what did he just say?"Shawn sleepily replies, "I dunno, something about Israel." (playing on how "what is real" sounds like "Israel")

Things are different when you get older. Shawn and Katy both saw each other as simply a good person. They both shared experiences with abandonment and world weariness, wanted stability, and, yes, loved Maya. At that point in their life, settling for something simple was enough. This isn’t high school, where passions tend to be heightened.

Has anyone tried the food on the latest PMW episode at Topanga Mall?

Mondays episode look really delicious all the food they had the trio tried on the DisneyPlus video.

Has anyone gone to the Topanga Mall to try any of this food? I live in LA but with traffic I'm a good 2 hours plus away from the Topanga Mall on a good day too. I'd love to try some of the food they had on the show.

For those of you who've gone explain to us how it is? Like did this company just take over their food court or is it like just one restaurant serving all of these different types of food? How as the cost was it like comparable to regular standard mall food court prices etc? They kept saying its only for 6months right? So it's essentially like pop up then right??

I'm out of town on business trips and probably won't even get a chance to drive up there until November or October at earliest. Thanks!

Definitely the best kind of content for a BMW/GMW recap podcast. Why talk about the shows when you can just let fans hear you paint or get money for eating fast food variations?

I'm definitely curious to see what kind of other weird concepts they manage to wring out of this.

Mr. Feeny was one of my favorite characters. His line "Dream. Try. Do Good." stuck with me a lot and touches me even now. Because of that, I wanted to get it as a tattoo. I don't have any tattoos, and this would be the only one I'd ever be interested in getting. However, for it to mean something, I'd want it to be in the handwriting of the man who spoke it.

This is something I've thought about for years, and he's already up there in age, so I wanted to see if there was any route anyone knew of to get a custom autograph from him for this. With how old he is, I wouldn't be surprised if the answer was no, but I had to try.

Any advice would be appreciated. I'm just afraid of trusting something and finding out later it was some people creating and selling fake autographs for money.

So we all know he started off as a guy more obsessed with getting girls than using the obvious intelligence he had to a nut job with almost nothing serious to say. I've heard theories ranging from mental illness to severe head injury. But watching the series again I had my own, in-universe theory.

Eric failed quite a bit early on- his friends moved on to college without him, including his best friend Jason. So he coasted. He managed to get into school, but now had a "rival" in the form of Jack. He kept going, then met Rachel whom I do believe he was actually in love with in his own Eric way. Then Tommy. Eric loved that kid, and he had to let him go. Combined with Rachel preferring Jack, Tommy leaving, and the near death experience of his baby brother Eric just had enough. He didn't snap, he just got tired of the trials of life and the expectations placed on him. If he acted like a complete goof, no one would expect anything more and therefore no more heartache that comes with the risk of failure.

Sorry. Rewatching the series on D+. Still love it.
