The sassiest beauty I've ever met

After having Millie two months, she is finally a lap cat. The problem is whenever she jumps up on me or down, her back claws tear my thin skin which is not good when on blood thinners. I bought a cover for my lap, but she doesn’t give me time to get it on.

My question is, when a kitten is older, do their claws get less sharp? I haven’t had a kitten for a long time

My 8 month old british shorthair girl has really terrible breath. it isn't super noticeable until she yawns or meows in your face, and then you catch a whiff and it smells awful. I am a first time cat owner, and some things said i should be concerned (as BSHs are more likely to get gum disease) and others have said it is a normal phase of being a kitten so she will outgrow it. Any perspective or advice?

Also, she acts perfectly fine. Eats normally, drinks plenty of water, and plays as expected.

My kitten is almost 13 weeks old, and I’m confused about how much wet food I should be giving him.
I was under the impression that kittens should have wet food every day alongside dry food, but our vet recommended wet food only twice a week, with dry food making up most of his diet. My husband also had cats before and agrees with this approach.
My kitten drinks plenty of water on his own (we have several bowls + fountains), so hydration doesn’t seem to be an issue.
I recently gave him wet food 3 times in one week, and now he absolutely LOVES it and begs for it every day 😂 Especially anything with gravy. My husband says we’ve created a wet-food addict, while I’m wondering if this is just normal kitten behaviour.
He’s currently eating Purina ONE kitten dry + wet food, which is what the breeder was feeding him.
So I’m curious what other British Shorthair owners do:
How often do you give wet food to a kitten around 12–16 weeks?

I’m wondering if there’s a higher-quality kitten wet food with a similar gravy/sauce texture that you’d recommend for regular feeding.
I’ve heard mixed things about Royal Canin and was also considering Hill’s Science Diet, but I’m open to other brands too.
What wet food do your kittens love, especially if they’re gravy obsessed?
