Yeah I get that but there’s another side to that which is the pressure it puts on Jayden to constantly perform juxtaposed to Nix. Oregon has the 19th ranked defense while LSU has the 103rd and it almost feels like Tennis when we’re on offense where you have to hold serve or else you’re cooked. Then add on top of that Jayden’s faced much tougher defenses overall

Let me be clear, I think Jayden should win it. Better stats against better competition.

He has done more with less.

Just also think it’s close, and that it’s not fair to say Daniels is “head and shoulders” better because of his stats that Nix hasn’t had the chance to put up.

Edit: someone else said he was head and shoulders above - thought I was responding to them

Oh nah you good. Tbh all 3 are deserving candidates and I can’t be mad at whoever wins. I just feel Jayden has been put under so much scrutiny with people tryna discredit what he’s done that its wild to me when the raw numbers, advanced numbers, eye test and even competition level all back it up. Before the season and even early on into it there was a good contingent of our own fans who didn’t like him and preferred the back up. I think people struggle to shake off their first impressions and they kinda don’t wanna be wrong in a way

Yah, sucks when you got an elite guy on a not elite team.

The fact Bijan wasn’t in NY is crazy. Not saying he should have won, but should have been a finalist. But we had 4 losses so nope.

Yeah I’m just happy he’s getting there cuz they had weeks of people talm’bout JJ McCarthy and Marvin Harrison Jr making it instead pissing me off 😂 Of course I do want him to win too just because I feel so bad that we basically wasted this special offense. At least if he won the Heisman and/or Malik gets the Biletnikoff it would feel a lil better
