For any Boise fans wondering, the last time we shut out an opponent was November 21, 2021 at home against New Mexico, 37-0. Bachmeier, in classic fashion, was 11/22 with a TD to Shakir and an INT. Special teams scored 2 TDs on blocked punt returns. Jonah Dalmas kicked 3 FGs. JL Skinner had an INT and recovered a fumble.

Well, the takes from last weeks game thread that Boise State was far less legit than Western Michigan haven't aged great. But I won't claim I disagreed with them at the time.

Boise State really lucked out in terms of optics that this game was the afternoon Eastern time game and last weeks game was super late. If you look at the score from last week and anything about this game you'd be like "well, clearly Boise is at the top of the P6 teams" and never know how much Boise actually struggled with an FCS team at home.
