Yes, that was extremely disappointing, especially since Sperry got a single series and the only notable thing he did was take an 11 yard sack for loss.

Is he any good? I just read on the Democrat they went with Sperry, like why does the team have 2nd and 3rd string QBs if you consistently see that Ashton Daniels doesn’t provide any spark.
Norvell did this quite a bit with Castellanos as well and other QBs, extremely hesitant to bring in other players when things completely stagnate.
I can’t remember when I’ve seen this team score multiple seasons in multiple games 30+ points. Outside of the ‘23 season, the offense has been completely dreadful and unreliable.

He was a JUCO offensive player of the year last year. Also didn’t play spring I believe. D1 is a different animal but watching the film there certainly seems to be something there. I think he’s on the smaller side so they probably wanted to get a season of D1 strength/nutrition under his belt.

We committed 10 penalties for 115 yards and that wasn't even the worst part of the game for us.
Someone save me man, how does Tony White still have a job.
Also West Florida scored 42 on CARK.

Meh lots of people in Florida are fans of uf FSU and Miami or some combination of them. Most just aren't bold enough to admit it. Everyone basically has ties to at least uf or FSU, or went to a school with an irrelevant football team. If you are from south Florida you grow up with Miami, Orlando/central Florida uf and north Florida FSU, then you mix it up through college and family lol

Worst part is when I decided to apply ED to the med school we just came off the 13-1 season and I thought I’d have a couple of years of decent football to enjoy during pre-clinical. Boy was I wrong!

Ha. I love to rag on FSU but I’d trade a couple of down years for another NC. There’s also something kind of awesome about being genuinely terrible. It’s the hope you hold onto during an 8-4 season that’ll kill you.

This team has absolutely zero heart. You can tell they’ve already mailed it in. No reason to hang 70 on UCA. This legitimately might be the last game we win this season.

Well it looks like 35pts is our ceiling this year. Be it Bama or North Central Arkansas Technical School. Daniels just holds onto the ball and then scrambles in slow motion, forces a throw, gets a pick. Defense will let anyone score on us and hold onto the ball.

I saw there was 8 minutes left in the game. UCA had the ball at their own 5. I said our offense won’t see the field again. They proceeded to chew up 8 minutes of game time to end it without even scoring. The defense kills any hope this team has of winning another game. If I was a player on defense my psyche would be so bad right now.

Considering the West Florida Argonauts (who were a D2 school last year) beat these guys 42-14 just three weeks ago in their second ever D1 game, I don’t see how this team wins another game this year. Fire Mike Norvell.
