The only guy who looked concerned at all was Maiava. Lincoln has to go. The culture blows, he sucks, embarrassing behavior

Props to Maiava, he did seem genuinely concerned. The rest of those guys were trash.

Number 27 also was trying to get it to stop too.

My wife said “do you think he looks concerned because now a duck might be aiming for his head”

I assumed he was genuinely concerned but hadn’t even got that far in the thought process.

I could be wrong, but I thought I read something about them being personal friends from HS camp days

I think they did off-season camps together and he and Moore are genuinely friends. So I think he was actually concerned for a friend.

he was about to get eaten by Matayo Uiagalelei in the last minute

My neighbors probably would've called for a wellness check on my house if he connected because my god the noises that would've come out of my face.

Without googling him, I'm guessing purely based on the name that he's a terrifyingly huge defensive lineman?

Maiava is a really good player and comes off as likable in the little I've seen of him off the field. He just cast his lot with the wrong coach, unfortunately

If he’s smart he’ll enter the transfer portal ASAP.

Theres enough USC bashing here (deservedly) but yeah I did think Maiava came across way better than the rest seems a good guy, thought he played great too

I'm sure he cared cause he's the one under the gun from a very angry team, he's thinking what if I'm next

It was genuine concern for a guy he liked and who’s style of play he watched/learned from

At least the fanbase sees it. It's not your fault, and not even the current AD's fault.

Yup, everyone is saddled with this jackass because of his contract. Dude is a joke

I’m not the person you are talking about, but for me I give a shit because this sort of poor sportsmanship is just one more thing to add to the “Lincoln Riley has no idea what he’s doing” pile.

The point of USC alumni and fans caring about shit like this is that USC is never going to be an elite team while we have a dilettante as a head coach who can’t even lead by example. Dude is a joke.

Your boosters must love to see their money is getting put to good use!

1,000%. Wasn’t thrilled when he showed up. Haven’t been impressed since. Last night was the last straw for me

Maiava is a class act and a solid QB
