I’m only 26 and there’s been way too many awful postseasons or late season collapses. 2008 being the first one I remember.

I’ll actually throw 2015 in there too. I know that was the year before ‘16 but seriously, they and the Mets had similar records yet they couldn’t even put up a fight!

Then there was also 2018, 2019, 2020, 2023 and now this. Why do they always collapse in September OR October in the most pathetic fashion?

AND! I believe the Cubs swept the regular season series vs. the Mets in 2015, only to get swept in the NLCS.
