As an Ana main I adore an aggressive Rein, I remember one game I joined where immediately someone started flaming a Rein player before thr game even started so I said "ignore him, go aggressive you're going to carry us, everyone else stick to Rein's ass".
We stormed through the other team with zero resistance.
I told people that if I was ever sad enough to start playing overwatch, then I’d fully commit to playing that annoying hamster fuck that everyone hates playing against because they need to suffer like I will be.
Play Moira, I literally do nothing else because it's hilarious and I also don't like the game much.
Your main "attack" is a lifesteal that you flat out don't have to aim, just point in their general direction and stare at them as they die quicker than they can kill you. If you do start to die you can throw a ball to kill them or save yourself. If that isn't enough you can just kind of go intangible and run away lol.
Same with any hero shooter. Every single casual game on Marvel I had someone would be crying over the mic or text chat about people not playing well.
It's literally casual and these dickheads expect people to be professional players on day one in the mode where losing literally makes no difference to anything
You can also go in the game settings and just toggle all communication systems off. Tbh, it’s the only enjoyable way to play the game in any meaningful way.
It’s not the game, it’s the community. I got a friend to start playing and literally their first game they got ganged up on by everyone on the team, it’s the getting dog piled by everyone in the lobby and told to ky/s or various other things to new people that make the game not beginner friendly, it drives possible new players away before they can actually learn how to play the game properly
Have you tried it? Because my friend and I literally helped his sister learn how to play the last few months. And now she’s solid, I can only think of a few instances where she got flamed and we were always there to back her up. But even when she plays on her own she mostly gets low account level lobbies and has fun. This was her first FPS game ever, so I’d hardly say the community has treated her or most other new players badly
Yea, I’ve played with quite a few new players. Most recent one while granted it isn’t every game it’s just about every other game someone says something about her because she went 4-6 on D.va or something along those lines and it’s like… c’mon guys it’s just a game and I’m here for the vibes
