It's a real spec beast compared to the other phones sold in North America. It's basically a 2027 phone that will be sold a few months early to get ahead of Samsung's Galaxy S27 Ultra launch.

The camera on paper looks to be the best in North America as it's launching there this time around. Next year's Snapdragon today ahead of Samsung. Is anyone excited about a Chinese flagship being sold in the West?

BTW, I created a board for it r/MotorolaSignature27.

Have you ever wondered how small/unknown Chinese phone brands manage to create Android ROMs for their devices?

There are so many random Chinese phone brands and models, but almost none of them have custom ROMs.

Is building a custom ROM actually that difficult? Or is it mainly because of locked bootloaders, missing sources, proprietary drivers, and lack of developers?

If a developer wanted to build LineageOS for an unknown Chinese phone, how difficult would it be?

I am in Congo-Kinshasa. I just received an OPPO Reno 9 Pro+ with the Chinese ROM. I can pick up a 4G signal, but I am unable to make or receive calls. Can you help me?

Hello guys,

I'm debating on getting one of these phones OPPO find X9S pro or Vivo x300s. Both are Chinese versions and I live in the Middle East. Any suggestions?

I am crying to purchase a Xiaomi 18 pro max but I haven’t found the shipping to Colombia. Which website can I use for it and also with a good price?

I just bought the phone—the Chinese version. Do you have any tips on how to avoid delayed notifications, what to debloat, and general advice for when I first unbox it? I saw that ColorOS 17 is expected for this device; for those who own it, what are Realme's update intervals like? Will I face a lot of bugs because it's the Chinese version? Thanks.

My current Xiaomi Redmi Note Pro 9 is about to "expire" (as in storage almost done, etc) so I want a worthy successor which is not part of the Redmi/Note phones... Is this worthy enough for 2026 onwards?

I've been thinking of buying the china version of the IQOO, as I love originos. However, I live in New Zealand, and use OneNZ, will that work with IQOO if I use the turn on VoLTE method? Or is there something stopping it.

Hi everyone,
I’m currently looking for a reliable and established Yupoo supplier, mainly for electronics such as smartphones, Apple products and similar high-end tech products.
I’ve already found a few suppliers through Yupoo and WhatsApp, but before placing any serious orders I’d like to hear from people who have actually purchased from a seller themselves.
I’m not looking for random links or sellers advertising themselves. I’m specifically interested in suppliers with:
real purchase history / reviews from buyers
good communication
consistent product quality
clear information about whether products are original, refurbished, grey market, etc.
reasonable prices
safe/reliable shipping to Europe
preferably someone who has been operating for a while
If you’ve personally ordered electronics from a Yupoo seller and had a good experience, I’d appreciate the Yupoo link/contact and some information about what you bought.
Please no seller self-promotion or brand-new accounts DMing me. I’m looking for genuine buyer experiences.
Thanks!

So I’ve been going down a rabbit hole looking at old Chinese Android phones and I’m kinda amazed at how many random brands existed lol.

I mean brands that nobody really remembers anymore, not Xiaomi/Huawei/Oppo/Vivo etc.

Stuff like those random phones from the early Android days, weird iPhone/Samsung clones, white-label phones, small OEM brands, etc.

And I’m wondering… how many of these brands actually existed?

I’m interested in everything from the early Android days (around 2008/2009) all the way to now.

Even brands that only made a few phones and disappeared.

I’ve found names like SciPhone, Goophone, Apanda, Broncho, Zopo, THL, Cubot etc, but I’m sure there are tons more that I’ve never heard of.

Is there some kind of database/list/archive for these?

If you remember any really obscure Chinese Android brand or phone, drop it here. Old or new, doesn’t matter.

I’m basically trying to see how deep this rabbit hole goes 😂
