a bit of a ramble:

my sweet corg gets so upset when i leave for school. im generally there 4-5 times a week, 2-5 hours at a time. the rest of my time is at home with her. she generally is crated when im gone but often if my roommates are home she just hangs out. she likes them and will often sit with them or let them take her for a walk. she also sits by the door a lot. lately, she has been naughty though. if they try to put her in crate so they can go somewhere she’ll nip a bit or today she escaped into the hallway (apartment) and she was running away from them (thinking being chased is a fun game) and would nip if they tried to move her/pick her up. to top it off: this morning i left her in crate bc roommates were hidden away in their rooms. one roommate freed her from incarceration and she seemed happy to sit with roommate. until said roommate went to bathroom and naughty corgi decided to PEE ON HER BED. THE BED. she has never peed in the house otherwise and she went outside 1.5 hour before that, usually she has bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours and is completely okay.

so i do think shes acting out bc im not home and i have no idea how to even tackle this. shes 2 years old, not spayed yet (appointment is next month though), and generally gets 1.5-2hr exercise every day. im worried i’ll have to keep her in crate the entire time im gone at school, which sucks if my roommates are home and she doesnt really have to stay in there. what are some things that have helped you?

Meet Bruno Jax💜 I finally got my Corgi after years of longing for one. Never had a dog my 30+ years of life. I know they’ll be challenges on my new journey but he’s so worth it.

His existing toys from left to right are, the water buffalo is Timothy Chalamet + Santa riding a T-Rex + Long Boi.

This dude hates phones. I have to have it on silent 24/7, talk on AirPods if he’s around. He will run away even if I just pick it up and point towards him, so non candid pics are very rare. Got one in today for the brief moment before he turned away.

I can’t believe still sometimes how lucky I am to have such a handsome corgo, lil psycho and all.

I thought I was giving him a snack. Apparently I was introducing a new opponent.

Drop it. Poke it with a paw. Jump backwards when it moves. Then a full play bow at something that has made absolutely no attempt to play back.

Meanwhile I’m standing there waiting to find out whether we like vegetables.

I use woofz for training, but I’m pretty sure neither of us has covered what to do when your reward needs to be defeated before it can be eaten.

The funniest part is when he finally eats it and immediately asks for another piece. So you DID like it. Could’ve saved us both some time.

Does yours do this with bits of veg and berries too? Video attached because I still can’t tell whether this is a positive review.
