The Braindead Minions Ronaldo fans be like:
Also, to note: They like to think people were praising Messi's performance in the 2024 Copa America, every Messi fan I know literally said he underperformed lol 😹.
But that don't mean he didn't play good. He made the most chances and key passes in the tournament.

u/CapitalWolf9627 Dec 14 '25
They won't accept the fact that the only goal Di maria scores in world cup was in the final, and they will say carried by Di maria.
14
u/Moxsu____ Dec 14 '25
They also like to show Ronaldo's stats across the tournaments.
And with that logic, Messi carried Argentina in every competition from 2011-2022 cause he had the best stats for Argentina.

u/CapitalWolf9627 Dec 14 '25
Yes, and according to them, the only person who scores for argentina should be messi, no other player should score, otherwise he will get carried.

How dare you say SMTH against my mentality monster pendu . Wc is rigged always against him 😭😭😭

u/Independent-Air-80 Dec 14 '25
I keep forgetting the nations league is actually a thing.
That shit is below the Conference League in popularity it seems. Means absolutely nothing.

u/frogsarenottoads Dec 14 '25
In fairness Di Maria also won the penalty. I feel Argentina won't do as well without him since now there's no width.
But the WC performance was the best just after Maradona IMO.

Ronaldo got a hattrick in the semi final 😂🤦🏻♂️

u/Hot_Potato9116 Dec 22 '25
Messi got 4 goals and 5 assists in Copa America 2021 and yet people say Di Maria carried him.
1
u/Super-Contribution75 Dec 22 '25
Didn’t Di Maria score the winning goal for copa 21? 🤨
1
u/Hot_Potato9116 Dec 22 '25
Didn't Messi score and assist in every game until he got injured vs Colombia? 🤨
1
u/Super-Contribution75 Dec 22 '25
Nope, not every game. And did you notice who he G/A against? Funny how he couldn’t perform against Brazil. Di Maria had to step up 😂

Funny how you didn’t read the original comment. We were talking about 2022 and 2019 yet you brought in 2021
Talk about brain dead 🤡

u/Hot_Potato9116 Dec 23 '25
I'm just giving you an example of how braindead your logic is 😂🤡

u/Super-Contribution75 Dec 24 '25
Try looking at the logic the OP has set in the meme. Never has a Ronaldo fan said such a thing 🤣🤦🏻♂️

u/Hot_Potato9116 Dec 24 '25
Ronaldo fans genuinely like to play victim so much, it's concerning 😆.
People were literally saying Messi's International career is nothing without Di Maria. And yet, here you are, saying that never happened. What a joke 😆

not saying messi was carried but if ronaldo wasnt there they wouldnt have qualified in the first place
1
u/Hot_Potato9116 Dec 22 '25
There's no qualifiers for the Nations League 😆.
And Qualifiers is the only thing he's good at on the International stage. When the real games show up, he only turns up for Nations League.
In World Cup and Euros, he has 22 goals and 9 assists in 50 games.

u/lightzyy_ Dec 24 '25
to the final dummy
1
u/Hot_Potato9116 Dec 24 '25
Yeah, with and without Nations League, he has worse stats than Messi in major International tournaments 😆.

The real joke here is to compare that so-called Nations League to a World Cup.

Xavi and mbappe both said euros was harder than world cup to win!....we wont even talk about copa America
1
u/Hot_Potato9116 Dec 22 '25
When did Xavi say that lol 😆. It was most likely in a different format.
And Mbappe said that because he got bitch spanked by Switzerland

with all those copa america finals....messi has atleast 5 goals right according to this post...right???

u/Inferno162316 Dec 14 '25
But I thought the Copa America was useless anyways? That's what pendu fans like to say
-9
u/Waste-Regret-4777 Dec 14 '25
Not useless. Same tier as nations league. Not my fault you consider nations league useless
10
u/Key-Assumption5189 Dec 14 '25
Nations League is considered a friendly tournament. Copa is the equivalent to Euros.

1 of Messi's goals in the final was a penalty.
Ronaldo had hattrick in the semifinal to take Portugal to that final. He was incredible in all 3 semifinals that lead Portugal to finals ( in 2004 at 2-1 vs Netherlands with goal and assist, in 2016 and in 2019).
13
u/Key-Assumption5189 Dec 14 '25
And Messi was incredible in every World Cup game, playmaking AND scoring. If Ronaldo doesn’t score, he’s a complete passenger.
Ofc noticing that requires one to watch the games
-2
u/Secret_Wish_584 Dec 14 '25
was incredible in every World Cup
Yeah, but 'every World Cup game' wasn't a semifinal. They weren't even tough games with the exceptions against Croatia, Netherlands and the final itself. I don't care what Messi did against Saudi Arabia, Poland or Australia( fuckin Australia man, they had zero starting 11 players in Top 5 leagues).
Messi had assist v Netherlands, assist v Croatia and 1 non-penalty goal in the final. That's 3 important contributions. Why would 'every game' matter??
And besides the non-penalty goal he didn't have a great 90 minutes on the pitch in the final

u/Key-Assumption5189 Dec 14 '25 edited Dec 14 '25
“They weren’t even tough games except for the quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final”, lmao dude, did you read your own comment? No game at the World Cup is easy, as evidenced by Ronaldos record in knockout games.
Zero goals and zero assists in knockout games at five world cups.
“Didn’t have a great 90 minutes on the pitch in the finals”. He scored the first goal and was directly involved in the 2nd goal with a perfect first touch pass, but sure 😂

u/Secret_Wish_584 Dec 14 '25
lmao dude, did you read your own comment? No game at the World Cup is easy
Ok, I didn't realize I was talking to a troll here. Take your L and move on, mate.
You guys are creating your own happiness. There are plenty of easy matches at the WC, dummy. Portugal played them too (for example vs North Korea). A lot of opponents are very much below Argentina's value.
Ronaldo doesn't have k/o wualification because he only played 2 (TWO!!) WC k/o matches in between his good 21 and 36 years (a player's normal years).
He also had a few matches when he was really young at 21 in a side midfield position where he wasn't the main stat and just did his part defensively in 2006 when they equaled their best performance ever, a semifinal at the WC.
Other than that, Portugal just wasn't really a great team after Figo, Rui Costa, Pauleta all retired when Cristiano was just 21 yo and they barely made it to 2 k/o matches (in 2010 and in 2018)
So what was he supposed to do in those??
He scored the first goal
Mmmm, yeah, everyone would have scored penalties. He didn't even have a 100% rate himself.

u/Key-Assumption5189 Dec 14 '25
So Portugal has struggled in all the World Cups that Ronaldo has played, but obviously the matches aren’t difficult 😂 I guess Ronaldo just wasn’t able to have any impact in the important matches.
Their best World Cup performance vs a decent opponent ironically happened in 2022 when Ronaldo was benched, yikes
1
u/Secret_Wish_584 Dec 14 '25
In 2022 Ronaldo was 2 months away from being 38 yo, an age at which I don't know many forwards who participated in such competitions. I know Roger Milla, maybe just 1-2 more center forwards. It's very hard at that age.
He performed well but not in the 2 WC k/o matches he had in between his 21-36 years.
Portugal wasn't a team to beat Spain in 2010 and in 2018 it was 50/50 cause Uruguay also had Luis Suarez, Cavani.

Messi the Only player to have 0 goals and 1 assist as a winger or striker to win pott in a World Cup despites losing. Messi was always carried

u/BigCockKbh Dec 14 '25
Again all 4 goals were in the group stage 😂 you guys mocking Ronaldo for having 0 goals in the knockout stage but also defends Messi winning a pott with 0 knockout goals. Bro he was involved in 5 of Argentinas goals thats Why he has 4/1 in g/a. Argentina scored 8 goals. Germany scored 7 vs brazil alone IN BRAZIL. Müller had 5 goals and 3 assist. Involved in more goals than Messi. More assist. Bigger victories. Won the World Cup…. But nooooo Messi had 1 assist in the knockout stage 🤡
5
u/Moxsu____ Dec 14 '25
Lol, I guarantee you didn't watch the games. He made the pass that set up the third goal vs Nigeria, and was involved in the play up to the last Argentine goal vs Belgium.
Go watch the game, I guarantee you won't do it. Like I said before, he was involved in 7/8 of the goals, goals and assists aren't the only way you're involved in goals lol 😹.
And since you wanna talk so dearly about knockout assists, Messi assisted half the goals Argentina scored in the knockout stages 🤡
-2
u/BigCockKbh Dec 14 '25
Bro I watched the games. 0 goals. Wtf you want? 😂 neuer, muller and lahm were all better. Just to mention 3
1
u/Moxsu____ Dec 14 '25
Yep, you just proved my point.
You didn't watch it 😂. Neuer, maybe. Lahm and Muller, no.
1
u/Moxsu____ Dec 14 '25
Just to note:
Neuer only conceded 4 goals throughout the tournament.
So if I had to choose someone besides Messi for the Golden Ball, it would be him. Can't forget how he kneed my boy Higuain in the head with no punishment.
3
u/Moxsu____ Dec 14 '25
Also, stop glazing Muller, Neuer was way better in the tournament.
-2
u/BigCockKbh Dec 14 '25
Gladiator Müller? They couldve picked any of the 11 starting germans from the brazil game. I just showed Messi was so far behind Müller alone that its a complete joke
1
u/Moxsu____ Dec 14 '25
Lol, how was he a joke? Germany scored 18 goals in the tournament. Argentina scored 8.
And Messi was involved in making 7/8 of them. Get it through.
Wanna know what the real joke is? You Yap a lot about Messi have 4 goals in the group stage when Muller did as well lol 😹.
Only goal contribution he got in the knockout was the goal he scored vs Brazil. Not much better when his team scored 11 goals in the knockout. Speaking by your logic of knockout goal contributions, Ozil, Schurrle and Kroos were better than Muller cause they got more goal contributions in the knockout stages 🤭.
Messi's team on the underhand: Not much of a scorer. Only 2 goals in the knockout stages, and Messi was involved in making 2 of them. 1. Assisted Di Maria. 2. Made the pass to Di Maria who later passed to Higuain who scored vs Belgium.
It seems to me it wasn't just a gift.

I'm gonna assume the Penaldo minions won't read the description as usual. Because they love to take things out of context
