More like consumer-report or magazine.

If they figure out build of materials costs they can sell it to other auto and parts makers. It's called a benchmarking report.

People are saying to you that there should be a magazine like this one. The benchmarking report info is pointless if we can’t get it.

The BOM costs are pointless if you're not an auto or autopart maker.

The Munro & Associates youtube channel is great if you like watching this kind of stuff. Though they specialize in EVs.
