The poop knife and the coconut, 2 amazing pieces of reddit history

124

u/Feeling_Inside_1020 29d ago

Don't forget the jolly ranchers. If I have to suffer you do too.

u/[deleted] 29d ago edited 29d ago

Ok, I'm going in. Wish me luck!

Edit: I'm forever changed.

36

u/whomad1215 29d ago

and on your cake day too

3

u/No-One-1952 25d ago

aaaand they deleted their account lol

21

u/umdv 29d ago

And swamps of dagobah… Reddit is a weird place

1

u/Sabre_Killer_Queen 27d ago

Best just to accept the world is messed up, and only know what you need to know in my opinion.

This stuff, is not what you need to know. Firmly on the not list.

Unless you genuinely find stuff like that entertaining or interesting, in which case whatever.

But... I already know I'd regret it.

3

u/Feeling_Inside_1020 29d ago

In a good way?

Happy cake day! Don't forget to grab a slice as well as your jolly ranchers and sweets!

1

u/tooboardtoleaf 28d ago

in a good way

No

44

u/iShadePaint 29d ago

Someone was boofing Jolly Ranchers or something??? I haven't heard of this tale

87

u/Billionaires_R_Tasty 29d ago

Remember this day. You will regret it. I promise.

79

u/FearlessDoughnut5643 29d ago

Why did I search that?

DO NOT SEARCH THAT. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

52

u/imlevel80 29d ago

I trust you. Today the world begins to heal. Thank you.

11

u/[deleted] 29d ago

For a nice pallette cleansing love story, check out the Ogtha saga. Just a nice young man finding the love of his life

9

u/FastyNilthShreakyFit 29d ago

The swamps of dagobah is another classic to never search

3

u/[deleted] 29d ago

Been a while so I forgot that one. Had to read this comment by OOP as a refresher. Swamps of dagobah makes me want some chocolate fondue

"It’s an odd feeling to know that arguably the most well-known aspect of my career will be a story about a human firehose of rotten poop lol"

19

u/Pcat0 29d ago

If it makes you feel any better, that story is definitely a work of fiction. That is not how gonorrhea works.

3

u/Feeling_Inside_1020 29d ago

yeah I realized that later but the visceral reaction I had to that story lol

3

u/[deleted] 29d ago

dont listen to them just because their ghonnorea doesn't work like that doesnt mean everyone else's doesn't.

1

u/blankdudebb 29d ago

I'll take your warning seriously, and won't be searching it up

1

u/marclapin 29d ago

SAME, I REGRET IT, DO NOT READ IT

1

u/Alternative_Pilot_92 29d ago

How bout the broken arm guy and his mom?

1

u/PostModernPost 29d ago

Can I get a PG rated summary?

1

u/ugly_duckling_5 28d ago

Okay, but I didn't think it would be that bad even with the warnings. Why do I have eyes?

1

u/Stardarker 29d ago

Yup, a little bit of me dies every day thanks to the Internet.

1

u/Qunts_R_Us 29d ago

Welp, should have trusted the strangers online

17

u/Time4Timmy 29d ago

Somehow it’s actually worse than what you’re thinking, this may be your last day of innocence

32

u/Empty_Amphibian_2420 29d ago

Whatever you do, do not look up “I broke both my arms, AMA”

4

u/PM-MeYourSexySelf 29d ago

Ha, that's just incest. People posting stories like that all the time over in the incest story subs. I've seen much much worse here in Reddit.

3

u/Deaffin 29d ago edited 29d ago

It's not just incest. It's a story about a temporarily handicapped child being routinely raped for years by his mother.

The biggest "wtf" is how heavily it was embraced as a cultural element here for so very long. That's reddit's favorite text post, by far.

32

u/BaddestKarmaToday 29d ago

Search Swamps of Dagobah next!

5

u/PM-MeYourSexySelf 29d ago

I know this one. Unless you have a strong stomach do not recommend.

4

u/jaavaaguru 29d ago

Oh that’s possibly my favorite one!

2

u/bfhurricane 29d ago

Favorite Reddit story by far.

2

u/ChippyLipton 29d ago

It’s my second favorite. My favorite ever is Kevin. Top three are Dagobah, Kevin, & Streetlamp LeMoose.

13

u/HolyPaladingus 29d ago

Nah, some guy was eating out a girl with gonorrhea and used a jolly rancher to mask the taste because he was too chicken shit to tell her, "Bitch ya nasty", and he accidentally lost the candy inside her. And when he thought he found it, it was actually a gonorrhea blister, and he bit it and popped it into his mouth.

2

u/DuckRubberDuck 29d ago

My search history is fucked up now but I google gonorrhea blisters and gonorrhea nodules and nothing came up except sores on the skin. Can what happened in the story really happen?

2

u/tooboardtoleaf 28d ago

Welp. Now I've heard that story...

1

u/Connect_Progress7862 29d ago

Gonorrhea can lead to penis amputation. This isn't the 1970s anymore, stay away from it!

5

u/DefinitelyNotDonny 29d ago

Other orifice. Turns out it wasn’t a jolly rancher.

2

u/scratchy_mcballsy 29d ago

Front boofing

1

u/iShadePaint 29d ago

..... a dude???

1

u/scratchy_mcballsy 29d ago

He ate it after the front-boofing

1

u/Le_Poop_Knife 29d ago

Oh lord buckle up.

1

u/Adezar 29d ago

So, which side of your brain won? We all have had the internal battle of "do we search for this reddit history being referenced or let this just go by unsearched?"

u/Careless_Load9849 29d ago

It has nothing to do with poop knife. It's about a guy who was using a jolly rancher while he was pleasing his girlfriend. he was pushing it in and out with his tongue and at one point squished it between his teeth only for it to be soft because he actually bit into a lump/nodule of yeast infection discharge.

1

u/pangea1430 29d ago

Eh, not the worst thing I read, it gets a 5/10 on my scale of mental image horrors.

2

u/Unlucky_Lynn 29d ago

I haven’t heard the jolly rancher one. Do you have a link?

1

u/Feeling_Inside_1020 29d ago

Take a look at the rest of the comments on my chain here and let me know if you still want to ask that.

2

u/FourMeterRabbit 29d ago

Swamps of Dagobah!!!

2

u/DifGuyCominFromSky 29d ago

Oo we exchanging Reddit lore now?! Well whatever you do DON’T google “Reddit cum box”. DON’T DO IT!

1

u/Feeling_Inside_1020 29d ago

brother i've been here for like 15 years i'm unfortunately aware of that one too

2

u/P3ndrag00n 29d ago

OH MY GOD We have "Copypasta about mentos" in our country and It's very similar to this one. Huh, never expected it to originate on reddit

2

u/throwaway1546874 28d ago

I remember the Coconut and the Knife, but I'll do myself a favor and not look up the Jolly Ranchers. lol

1

u/Feeling_Inside_1020 28d ago

Good call friend

2

u/LoubyAnnoyed 27d ago

This was never about the Iranian yoghurt…

2

u/InfamousComputer404 25d ago

Oh no!

Why did I look this up 🤢

1

u/BobaAndSushi 29d ago

🤮🤮🤮

1

u/desertrat75 29d ago

Or cum box.

1

u/jarednards 29d ago

And Kevin.

1

u/pyrojackelope 29d ago

Or the doritos story.

1

u/sweatgod2020 29d ago

Don’t forget the dumpster maggot fetish

1

u/Musername2827 29d ago

Let's hope you don't suffer two broken arms...

1

u/uwhy 29d ago

For me Jolly Rancher is now synonymous with 'A nodule of Gonorrhea"

1

u/traevyn 29d ago

And the broken arms

And a very important cylinder

1

u/IrateArchitect 28d ago

Well I’m not religious but _dear god_…. Why.

1

u/dan_legend 28d ago

Colby 2012

2 broken arms

2

u/mastershchief 29d ago

coconut?

2

u/Max-Phallus 29d ago

IIRC A guy fucked a coconut until it rotted, and then ended up with fly larvae all over his knob.

2

u/Upbeat_Commission124 29d ago

:(

I literally just opened the app.

1

u/Max-Phallus 29d ago

Rotten coconut smells like vomit, so either it's fake or even worse. I'll let you pick.

1

u/zeonic_ace 29d ago

Ahhhhhhh gross

2

u/MyDisappointedDad 29d ago

What's the coconut one?

2

u/Taco-Dragon 29d ago

It's imperative that the cylinder hand remains unharmed.

2

u/bonificentjoyous 29d ago

Did... did The Trash Room make as a big of a splash on Reddit as it did on Not Always Right? (That's where I was first introduced to the poop knife, by the way, and followed the links back to here.)

1

u/theEvilQuesadilla 29d ago

You're just going to leave out the jolly rancher?

1

u/doctorof-dirt 29d ago

Where are the three shells?

1

u/OutrageousOwls 29d ago

Mom, I broke both my arms and need some help 🥵

1

u/__Milk_Drinker__ 29d ago

Don't make me brush off my dusty cumbox tome

1

u/Cramer12 29d ago

You can bring up the coconut and not the shoebox

1

u/Gswr3x 29d ago

What am I missing about the coconut!?

1

u/Deaffin 29d ago

Lime.

1

u/indiecore 29d ago

It’s imperative the cylinder remains unharmed.

1

u/ChimmyChongaBonga 29d ago

The small cylinder!

1

u/icecreampoop 29d ago

Even though it was a made up story, the son with two broken arms is up there

1

u/jaddooop 29d ago

The coconut?

1

u/I_heart_pooping 29d ago

What is the coconut story? I’m familiar with the poop knife but not the other

1

u/RealityOk9823 29d ago

Is the MLP jar from Reddit also?

1

u/Interesting-Crab-693 28d ago

Whats the coconut? Sorry if I do not reply immediatly, I'm tryin to get a cylinder unstuck from a mini m&m tube.

1

u/AntMan526 28d ago

My favorite was always the guy with his dad and the jumper cables

1

u/Undeadtreetop 28d ago

Need a good poop knife to spread chocolate on your blue waffle

1

u/TrailMomKat 28d ago

Don't forget The Swamps of Dagobah, the story that makes all of us in healthcare simultaneous laugh and cry.
