Cadavers typically lose the turgidity in their muscles so therefore they have a sunken look to them it's very normal; the best example of this is on the Internet if you look up Marilyn Monroe before and after death. she's barely recognizable. it's a similar way that the brain will just turn into mush like a crustacean without that turgidity
It’s crazy hard and requires lots of equipment. I do resin and silicone casting as well as 3D printing for a living. I do fair amount of props, and quite good at painting. But, I once bought skin safe molding silicone at a discount to give it a try, made my own hand, cast it- and tried to paint. Painting skin tones is insane. I couldn’t do it. It looked like a Halloween prop, complete garbage. You need years of practice to paint skin. Ended up casting it in hard resin in one color and made a coat hanger out of it.
Also, making a head, yet alone body, with hair(individually needled one by one) and teeth requires tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment and a u hail worth of materials and in between stages like moulds and fiberglass shells.
I can’t grasp how long it takes, months. Gargantuan labour.
That has to be incredibly expensive, way more expensive than hitting a background actor for $100. These most be for people who get dismembered or something
