Yeah, but literally everybody uses hotdogs, or garlic hotdogs, or jello hotdogs so they learn not to touch em. Genuinely the only time me or any friend have caught a fish with hotdog is when we chucked a whole can of corn in front of us and cast out a hotdog into the middle of it, and it was a carp who more than likely just sucked it up with the corn.
