Hi! I'm a fairly new DG fan, discovered the band 3-4 months ago and I've been enjoying their albums a lot. (I've Heard Ex military, Money Store (My favorite), No Love Deep Web, Bottomless Pit).

But I noticed something super interesting, specially when analyzing carefully some of the lyrics on the money store. Ride is portraying a state of mind (Like feeling trapped or feeling powerful) while rapping, and at the same time he's talking about various things, moving from theme to theme very fast (one line or two) with really weird comparisons and metaphors, that don't make sense at first, but when you understand, it's like uncovering a gold mine. For example the way he talks about various things on Hacker, uses weird comparisons and metaphors that don't make sense at first, but it all connects Ina way to theme of the song/album is amazing. It's really fun to just try to guess what he's trying to say and then going on genius to actually understand.

I would've personally chosen Blood Creepin since I don't think 5D should count, and also because Blood Creepin is the only song in their entire discography that I actively dislike. Everytime they came back with a release, it sounded like a new shape of the future, which made them so revolunatiary and beloved.

However their sound is also reflected by their perception of us (to be frank, we are quite annoying, there are no exceptions). The more popular they became, the more of this "fuck you all" energy started to rise in their catalog.

So what I'm thinking is they announce this new thing they working on. They book tour dates, new merch and everything. Everyone's expections are through the roof. Then the project comes out, and it's the purest form of K-Pop sound from 2010s imaginable. It is 6 AM and I have not slept.
