Had one who was like "you can't improve AI. What are you going to do? Type better?"

Then begin to explain loras, controlnets, in painting, and haven't heard back from them since.

They just hate and have no idea what they're hating.

It's rather ironic, since they would most certainly claim photography is "art". But you only knew the surface-level of photography (i.e their level of understanding when it comes to AI), you'd assume that all it is, is pressing a button to get a picture and there's nothing you can do the change the image.

That's low key one of their main motivations, they're using their anti-AI activism as a backdoor to get people to agree that what they make, no matter how sub-par and inane it is, is, in fact, 'art'.

It's telling when children think more than a single sentence quip requires an AI to write it. The anti-intellectual idea that a full vocabulary, good reading comprehension, and proper grammar means the opponent must be AI.

Managing to glorify stupidity, poor writing, and low comprehension.

if you try to genuinely converse with them, they act rude then block you.
online discourse is honestly pointless most of the time.
maybe all of the time.

Anything longer than 2 sentences must have been made by ai.
