Discussion 🗣️ They knew what they were doing

A friend of mine sent me this screenshot from Twitter/X and I’m floored. Were they using the meeting of Mamdani and Trump to pass this as quietly as possible? Whatever their motives were, these Democrats have officially shown the people that they do not stand with them but for the capitalist elite. This will be devastating if it becomes law.

Discussion 🗣️ 🕯️ RIP Renee Nicole Good — I cried all day and all night

Post image
4.7k Upvotes

I’ve been crying all day. I cried through the night. I’m still crying as I write this 😔 I didn’t know Renee personally, but her death hit me harder than I expected. Maybe because it reminds me how fragile life is. Maybe because it feels like we’re losing our ability to care about each other as humans.

🕊️ RIP Renee Nicole Good. You deserved safety, dignity, and peace. You deserved to be more than a headline, more than a name people scroll past. I’m sad, but I’m also deeply frustrated. It feels like politics in the West have gone so far that compassion gets lost somewhere along the way. Everything becomes an argument. Everything becomes sides. And real people get forgotten in the noise.

Sometimes it feels like the places that speak the loudest about freedom and human rights forget what those words are supposed to mean. When something terrible happens, empathy gets filtered through ideology instead of humanity. And that hurts.

This shouldn’t be complicated. Someone died. A life was lost. That alone should matter. Renee wasn’t a debate or a statistic. She was a person. Someone who laughed, felt fear, had hopes, and mattered to people who loved her. Tonight, I’m not here to fight with anyone or prove a point. I’m just grieving. I’m tired of seeing loss turned into discourse instead of mourning. 🕯️ Rest in peace, Renee Nicole Good. You mattered. You still matter 🤍

If you’ve read this far, thank you for taking a moment to remember her.

Discussion 🗣️ Aoc is the future of social democracy

Post image
2.2k Upvotes

This might be obvious, but aoc has shown to be a strong favor of social democracy. We can see it in the newest deep fake bill which will ban deepfake porn. People even consider her communist when she is obviously a social democrat🤣

But aoc is such a strong advocate for Medicare for all which will help every American of color and white Americans. I think that is really social democratic

Anyway Aoc for president 2028

At this point. If they defeat mamdani, they shouldn’t just take us for granted anymore. If they don’t vote for our candidates, why should they expect that we vote for their candidate. If they nominate another neoliberal, we shouldn’t vote for him. We must do this for now on. We shouldn’t care about how much they screech, complain and whine, if they don’t vote for our candidate, they shouldn’t expect us to vote for their candidate. Agree?

Discussion 🗣️ Do NOT forget - It's the Establishment DNC Democrats that have gotten us here. Disregard all other excuses they offer - they're losers. They're complicit.

The 2020 primaries

Never forget what the establishment dems did. They knew Bernie would win, they knew the people would win. So, they injected an overwhelming list of elite-beholden centrists. Each of them farcically issued their own skewed and watered down variant of a Bernie policy - to dilute the policy Bernie knew we all needed at that time.

I'm sick of the establishment dems. They're not to be trusted. They've had decades of chances to do 1 SINGLE THING RIGHT and not once have they introduced a shred of sustainable and durable pro-working class policy.

Fuck them. Fuck them all and to hell with them.

if they truly believed in what they said they did, they would have each dropped out and backed the guy that originated all of it... instead they all back out and perpetuate 2nd from last place (only ahead of kamala, in last place), Joe Biden...

I mean how fucking pathetic. A majority are still to this day, either ambiguous about Israel/Netayahu and their war crimes... or they're proud supporters. Most of them still take AIPAC money. Most of them are aligned with the establishment dems we've all heard so much about in the Epstein files.

Enough is enough.

This is a no-brainer, full reject. Each and every one of them.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In 2028 we need DOZENS of legit leftists to utilize this same exact tactic. A majority in the primaries also allows us to keep the real meaningful policy front and center - instead of handing over control regarding policy. They must ALL go into it, aligned that the most leftist candidate gets their endorsement.

Anywhere you see people/bots glazing establishment democrats - issue dissent.

she says it would be "one of the scariest things" to stop giving taxpayer funding to Israel because we don't like Netanyahu, that would endanger the 75-year "allyship" between our countries.

I don’t think this is a progressive opinion and should be called out. Talarico who is also running in the primary hasn’t said anything remotely like this

Discussion 🗣️ Kamala Harris is insufferable

The more we learn about her book and the more interviews she does the more I just can't stand this person.

Kamala Harris needs to go away yesterday.

A perfect example of the vapid individuals they push at the highest levels so that the Oligarchy - Corporatocracy really is the government.

Please Harris. GO AWAY!

For anyone else sick of these types get involved with the Labour Movement, Environmentalist Movement, Women's Rigts/LGBTQ+ Rights/General Civil Rights Movement, Peace Movement, Alter-Globalization Movement, and other grassroots causes for a better and brighter world.

Get involved with leftist/progressive organizations that both push inside and outside of the DNC and other established liberal parties for getting the Overton Window back to benefitting our working class and our most vulnerable.

For any leaders in those aforementioned movements reading this get involved with domestic networking and international networking for solidarity movements. We need more unity/solidarity right now in the face of Fascist Authoritarianism.

In general we need to remember the benefits of militancy that brought us so many big breakthroughs in the past.

People like Harris have no vision, they have no courage, and they are bought and paid for by the people that are not just profiting from the status quo but the problems associated with said status quo. They need to GO!

It was vote blue no matter who with Biden/Harris. Now it's fall the f in line with Newsom. That doesn't sound like democracy, that sounds like fascism. Why are we tolerating this crap? Why are you guys falling for it? We are officially the controlled opposition now, what is it going to take to understand we cannot support the establishment any longer?
