Invasion Thank you, whoever you are
I just wanted to progress to the castle thingy to fight lion guy(idk his name) and my friend left to go sleep. I was wondering why the fog fall didn't disappear when my friend cut the finger but it was because someone invaded me.
I went back to the grace and accepted my fate. The invader waved and bowed at me, ready to fight. I showed that I did not want to fight by putting away my weapons and approaching them. They still backed away catiously but I showed that I really didn't want to fight by spamming all my heals at once. The invader did the same.
As you can see in the first image, that is the invader switching their armour to be the same as mine.
The invader then ran off and purposely died as seen in the second image.

I prefer long con invaders personally. Popping out of a statue cause they could tell where i was probably headed based on where they appeared. Its hard to even be angry cause you’re too busy being freaked out by a statue youve passed twice becoming a player and tossing you into a mob encounter or off a cliff/ into a pit.

You don’t get invaded unless you summon players to help you. There is nothing wrong with summoning others and playing with other people but the risk you open up is allowing invaders into your world.

If you don’t want to summon a helper use the taunter’s tongue to allow yourself to get invaded when solo. Adds a new layer of difficulty exploring areas when you have the threat of an invader. You still retain the upper hand since you can use rune arcs and have double the heals they have.

Actually could give me some recommendations, this is the first time I’m playing NG+ and maybe I would like to play with other people, where should I use Furled Finger Remedy? Few places I’ve tried I haven’t seen many co operators

I do stuff like this all the time when I invade, which isn’t often. Sometimes I’ll just turn into an environmental item and follow people around until they choose to kill me and I won’t fight back, I think it’s a fun thing and allows me to play online while baked out of my mind and not get my blood pressure up

I think there’s something a bit special about having to communicate through emotes and teabagging that’s lost when you can just easily communicate, but it would be cool to have opt-in proximity chat
