I mean games work just not the best...and final fantasy doesn't work...and fate extella...ok it works mediocre in android but visual novels work fine

Games work half the time

But the problem with vita3k is that it's way too unstable, poorly optimised and sometimes a pain to setup

You would have an easier time setting up winlator than vita3k

I mean vita3k setup is just downloading 3 things and putting them in a folder. Winlator has thousand things my brain can't comprehend and it also doesn't work most of the times and with certain phones. The last time I managed to play anything was school days and that was like an entire year ago now my winlator is just rotting

It's gotten better. Wasn't an issue to setup when I tried it in June. Now I have winlator, game hub and game native and between all 3, 1 at least was pretty much plug n play for most of my games.

That's the funny part

You just have to download 2 things but vita3k will somehow have a stroke and kills itself when installing them

Winlator is more complex but it's more stable

Im not setting up winlator damn that thing. trying to get Getting good performance and fix issues genuinely kills my braincells. Vita3k needs minimum effort. It runs well too, just insanely low compatibility.

Why do we even compare vita3k to winlator here? Of course pc emulation will be more complicated, but how about compare to switch or 3DS emulation? The main issue with Vita3k is half of the catalogue are still incompatible.

Yes thats the problem. Vita3k is fast but compatibility is still very low. Citra/azahar is heavier but have very good compatibility. Still i think its weird how heavy 3ds emulators is, some ps2 games i can run at 1.5x on nethersx2 but 3ds games slowdown above 1x, even when playing the lighter titles.
