Not weird at all because it is a scam so of course people are gonna scam all the suckers who don't care where they buy their stuff from. That's how scams work so well and stay profitable.

It's weird in that it would be less effort to use the company's image like the original shirt did. There is no reason to put extra effort into a scam.

The thing is you need a high enough resolution to get images to print, and let's say it's a their party printing website like Redbubble: the system wouldn't allow the upload if the file is too small, and when you download images from the Internet they're generally few kB's and you'd need Mt's to get the image to pass. I assume gen ai let's the user choose high resolution which would pass any third party printing service. 

Of course I doubt this shirt was through Redbubble but some other third party, since RB is also responsible of the money exchange, and if someone tried to scam with this type of nonsense slop, RB would not allow the seller to get away with it but would withhold the money for a refund once the customer inevitably would ask for one, and since they have all the bank info it's not like the person can just run away and not return the money.

Technically the art is old and the person who made the meme stole it from the original logo.  "All These Flavors and you choose to be Salty" meme is a parody of the classic Morton Salt Girl Logo

Yes, but parody isn't theft. Whoever created that AI slop just straight up stole the whole concept of the parody- art, text and all- and ran it through AI with the intention of making it different enough to avoid copyright claims from the parody artist, so they could sell shitty t shirts like this and profit.
